Hi Gary. We currently have a whole house water softener but We only want soft water for hot showers and dish washing. What about putting it in the supply line for the hot water heater only?
Hi Garry, I just bought a 3m WTS 42IAS 802 Softner in India and it has exactly the sane red arrow valve, is it clark rebranded to 3M being sold here? Also please please help me with a weird issue that I am facing, I have a 1.5 hp submersible pump that puts water in a 3M sediment filter which then goes to the softner and then to my overhead tank, but every now and then I am still seeing a lot of sediments inside my tank despite cleaning it. The filter and softener was installed a week back only. Please let me know what can cause this. Thanks and love from India❤️
Hi Gary, I live in Los Angeles. I currently have a water softener that needs to be replaced. It’s about 15yrs old. Somehow it bursted and I got resin in my water heater. Do you have a DIY that shows how to clean out the water heater? As for the water softener, I hear Clack is good, but is there a system you recommend that will not burst the resin like that? I have the set up already, I’m hoping to swap it out myself. Any recommendations?
They can burst if your municipal water supply is of extremely high pressure (over 60psi). I wouid recommend this water softener waterestore.com/products/hum-deluxe-water-softener-30-000-grain but if your water pressure is high, let us know and we can put together a draft order to have one built with a gravel under bed to make it more resistent to bursting internally.
@@water_estorehow does the gravel prevent it from busting. Shouldn't gravel be standard if it does this, since resin leak can be a huge pain. Yet most people leave the gravel out of softners, saying its not needed..
Make sure that you know how hard your water is and your water softener is programmed for that hardness correctly. This video should help. ruclips.net/video/XMY69hdhX44/видео.html
Hi Gary, I have a problem with a clack ws1 valve, when it has to do the brine cycle, it does not suck strongly, what would be the problem? I checked the piston separators, I checked the injector, very little water comes out of the drain and the water softener is almost new... please help

Sure, this can be done but you will receive no benefit of soft water in your whole cold water supply.

Yes, they are sold under the 3M name in many countries. I would try going with a finer sediment filter (lower micron).
@@water_estore is it possible that the softer has some issues?

I have also changed the suction tube in the brine tank
Could the drain line be kinked or partially clogged?
Don’t forget the toilet
those get clogged up easy and quick
Yes, thanks for reminding me that hard water also clogs toilets
A load.
