    Such a beautiful recording, the best version of "Anything Goes" I've ever heard. And not only because I'd rather see Ramona "undressed" than the old Cole Porter ;)

    Recorded on October 26, 1934; at the same session, Whiteman and his "Concert Orchestra" also cut a 12 inch two-sided disc of a medley from "Anything Goes"...

    This musical bit was in Fallout 3 by bethesda softworks! Obviously digitally enhanched and cleaned up. But this is just absolutely marvellous!

    This is the best version, in my opinion.
    If you need it on CD look for ' These Were Our Songs the Late '30's From Readers Digest collections. Fantastic 4 CD collection got it on Amazon.com

    Oh, I know they weren't....but what was allowed to get through to the general public was another matter. It's not so amazing that this record was made, just that it was allowed to become a hit.
