The only thing I remembered about the advertising for this movie was the "no YOU'RE the alien, hellooo??" trailer and the "campfire hotdogs" advertisement for the Kid Cuisine partnership with this movie.

I love this movie. But it's mostly because I love vintage alien b movies from the 50s
Plus the Rover Robot vaguely reminds me of Wall-e for some reason.
This movie is the PURFECT ohmage to those films. Its aesthetic is so satisfying to my monkey brain.

I remember finishing school and going to see my Grandparents.
When I arrived at their house, they handed me a wrapped gift and when I opened it, THIS MOVIE was the gift. The Blu-Ray edition to be exact.
Back then, I was jumping for joy, then the following day I forgot about the movie
I have played the game version once at a cousins house and have no other knowledge of this
I went to see this movie in theaters with my friends, we were very much high at the time. I also watched this years later at home entirely in German for no reason other than why not 😆

Like the "Not Drunk" Yu-Gi-Oh reference. Ah 4kids...... Nothing like smoking lollipops, Eating Jelly Donuts (rice balls), and getting wasted with a bottle of hot sauce.
