Thanks for your feedback. This tool is called a darning hook, diameter 0.8-0.9 mm. You can buy it at a shoe repair store or search online.

Thanks for the review. The material is a piece of leather, the glue is called Nairit sar 30e. Everything is sold in a shoe repair store or you can look it up on the Internet

@@remountnik Thanks. I ended up sewing up mine just layering up a similar coloured thread to fill the gaps and pull together, then put some Copydex round to seal it slightly and make it last longer
