9:30 It might be worth double checking the Star Wars visual guides. I'm not too familiar with them, as they mostly exist in my memory box, but you could probably find a scan online if you look hard enough
I feel like there was _at least_ a midsize profile shot of the asset in there, though I could be wrong
@@ThatTallBrendan while I do have a few, they're from when I was a kid, so they're all episode 1 and OT content 😂 I'll have to look online, since I doubt I'll be able to find anything physical from when episode 3 was relatively new.
I built the red and grey Obi-wan version a few weeks back, it's a really clever build and looks amazing, nice review.
@@theGingerBreadStudios i agree, the build is quite clever. Really makes you appreciate what can be done with bracket pieces.
Looks amazing, maybe I should get that one too!
@@orlandomende3287 Isn't it cool? 😀 Definitely check out BAUFman Bricks' original video 👌🏻 there's only a handful of color schemes that you can do, unless you want to mix some together, which is something I'll show in a later video.
It looks so good
@silly_kitty170 they did such a great job designing it 🤌🏻
would have loved to see the head of an astromech on it..
@@madster3714 so there's a stud for it right there on the left wing, I just didn't want to take mine off of the official set, I'm ordering an additional one 👍🏻
If you are going to make a hyper ring, then you could take inspiration from Brickvault’s versions
@@controlvids6079 I'll have to check them out 👌🏻
@@controlvids6079 damn, I just looked and those are really nice. Way more complicated than I could probably do. Too bad the instructions are $30.
@@mintcondition7729 oh, yeah I don’t think it’s worth it, plus designing your own with all the bells and whistles would feel more accomplishing
@@controlvids6079 agreed, although having the pictures to look at will definitely help. Plus, they only did the episode 2 version, so I'll still have to figure out how to attach three times as many engines 👌🏻
@@mintcondition7729 right, I always forget that the rings are different, I wonder why the extra engines are needed for the eta 2
I built a bunch of these, one is black and dark gray with a red windows
@@TheTrollMastah nice! I have most of the parts for a dark purple and light gray one, and then some parts in sand blue and metallic gold that I might eventually make ships with 👌🏻
@ I had almost no parts haha, I had to buy most of them. I actually need a few cockpit pieces as I have none. This blue one is super cool though I really like it
@TheTrollMastah oh boy, let me tell you, getting all the parts I needed was real fun with having to juggle different colors. I don't have a supply of loose parts to pull from, so I have to order everything. It really adds up 😭
Not sure if you guys know of him, but you should check out TJ the Brickwrite!
He has many excellent ship designs that are friendly to their own lore- including a redeemed Anakin consular ship. I highly recommend giving him a look :)
Lovely MOC
will you have instructions for this?
@@ClonetrooperCaptain if you mean the starfighter, there's a link in the description that takes you to the BAUFman Bricks video that I got the instructions from.
As for the hyperdrive ring, once it's done I do intend to make instructions, but I have no idea how to do that, so it might take a while before they're available.
@@mintcondition7729 ah ok thank you!
@@mintcondition7729 Hey so for the instructions for your hyperdrive, I literally just learned today that there is a free software called Lego Studio where you can digitally design your MOC. It can auto generate step-by-step instructions and create a parts list for you. I believe it’s owned by Bricklink/Lego and you can just sign in with your brick link account. Pretty sure that is how Baufman and other MOC-ists create their instructions. Hope that helps!
