Great upgrade. I was a little surprised that the stretch and the capacity upgrade weren't all part of the pre-rego process. Looking forward to the next stage - the stretch and the canopy. Its going to be fit for purpose.
The GVM and GCM upgrades were needed to be done pre rego that is why we had to wait so long to take delivery but the stretch can be done after rego as limitless chassis also repairs bent chassis and sometimes extend and strengthen them as well the most common one is the triton can't wait to get it back and get the canopy built cheers kev
@@travellingaustralia7319 I wish you guys luck and a speedy canopirsation of the new car! It will be great, I am sure. You know what you need and want - which is why I watch your channel! :)
Us blokes never get sick of new toys eh? 😀 Looking good. We got a 4200kg before rego Lovalls GVM upgrade on our single cab 79 and we are happy with it. It has a bit of a squeak at the moment but Ill deal with that. TJM Bundy did that for us, good grew in there.
there is a good saying I like "he who dies with the most toys wins " you can never get sick of having new toys TJM in Bundy were good to us we just got tired of waiting for the lovells upgrade ,cheers Kev
it should not change warranty to much as lovells will do warranty on the suspension and related problems and limitless chassis will warranty anything that relates to the chassis stretch other than that Ford dealer assures us there wont be any dramas with any normal warranty issues cheers kev
WOW a stretched ford ranger gee ive never seen one didn't know anyone had the balls to do one 😂 be great to see how she goes be a shit turning circle tho but that's the nature off the beast adding more feet to gain more weight and capacity , looking forward to this one 👍
I think it will be a better turning circle than our v8 cruiser that was terrible even after we adjusted it hope this is going to be a great vehicle cheers kev
we really only went for the xlt as we could buy it cab chassis, it is a shame you can't buy a super cab with the v6 motor that would have been our choice then cheers kev
My oldman was a truckie all his life. He always said what you are towing should never weigh more than your tow vehicle or in worst case scenario one and a half times. I rekon your a bit under gunned. Before everone carries on have a look at Auto Expert John Cadogan. He has done videos on towing and loads etc. Its up to you. That aside good luck becarefull.
Hi we also have trucks and yes your father was definetly correct in my view also. We have a max gvm of 3700 we should be around 3600 including ball weight and our max gcm is 7200 but our van is around 3100 loaded including ball weight of 270 so we expect to be close to our gvm but gcm should be around 6400 /6500 kgs We believe that there will be a lot more weight checking happening in the next few years as there is so many way overloaded vehicles and caravans on our roads I do enjoy watching Johns videos even though he has a huge hatred for caravans cheers kev
that is some thing we will find out in time, if there will be any issues . we dont believe it should make much difference to anything that is not affected by the stretch engine gearbox etc cheers kev

If you do a YT series on the upgrade process you'll definitely gain a few more followers 😉
our videos will be of the whole process from start to finish and travelling next year we have a couple of big trips planned
cheers kev
Hey mate with the lovells spending on the rear do you have the little wedge plates under the springs?
I will let you know when we get the car back from the stretch
cheers kev
It's a lot of money you're spending. Good luck with the Ford ranger .
You're going to need it .
it is always a gamble hopefully it will be as good as the last one but it's no toyota
cheers Kev
Did you consider the WT ? Constant 4WD would be nice IMO.
we really only went for the xlt as we could buy it cab chassis, it is a shame you can't buy a super cab with the v6 motor that would have been our choice then

I waited 12 months for my DMAX so I know how you felt
time goes so slow when you are waiting
cheers Kev
I’ve always wondered if modifying the chassis would create warranty issues?
that is some thing we will find out in time, if there will be any issues .

@@travellingaustralia7319 Can’t wait to see the new rig in action. I really enjoy your videos 👍 Thanks mate
