Did you see it when it was there? To me, it was more than a parade. Alyja knocked it out of the ballpark with the costumes. A personal story about it... My dad died in 1994 and I didn't go back to Disneyland for awhile. When I finally went back, the parade was going on and as I stepped through the tunnel to Main Street it was right in the height of the "Circle of Life" performance. I just stopped and cried. I can't imagine a more emotional song/performance to step into at that moment, but it's more a profound memory now rather than sad.

@KeepingtheMagicAlive that's a beautiful outcome from something so sad. Perfect time to come back to it. I myself wasn't born until late October 95. Been cool to see such work.

Magnificent! This is just beautiful. Thanks for recording and sharing. I feel like the work they did on the animetroncs and costumes. I'd say some of the work is better then the live broadway shows. Tons of work into that. Id love to have Mufasa sitting in my backyard lol

I love your comment! If you haven't watched my video about Alyja Kalinich, please check it out. She designed all those gorgeous costumes for the Lion King Celebration. I love that you appreciate all the details in this parade. I think not everybody recognizes all the details, but I think they might realize something isn't as good without them. And yeah, I'd love a Mufasa in my backyard, too! :)

@KeepingtheMagicAlive Sweet thanks! Was hoping you would reply to my comment! Oh I better check out the video. This Lion King parade was way ahead of our time.. She did amazing work. I'm so glad they pieced it together so beautifully. Can't wait to see this new Mufasa movie. Great time to be alive

@@jeniasmackay7931 I agree that the Lion King parade was ahead of our time! Can you believe that was 30 years ago??? I think it is just as good today! Here's the link to the video I did about Alyja. She's camera shy and didn't want to appear but she did help me with the video. ruclips.net/video/kBRIsYCPraE/видео.html&pp=ygUOYWx5amEga2FsaW5pY2g%3D

Thank you!!! I'm in the process of having a lot of these old videos transferred. It was a Sony Hi8 camera. I'm so happy you're impressed with the quality!!

@@KeepingtheMagicAlive do you remember the model number? It’s ok if u don’t. I ask bc I collect these older Hi8 camcorders and use them on a regular basis. Like Sony CCD-VX3, CCD-TR101, CCD-V801 etc
