Move up in stakes relative to their income/net worth, then maybe they’d respect raises more…but there’s a lot of people with far too much money to get nervous over most raises.
Can’t wait! Great meeting you tonight briefly Brad! I played in the $50 nightcap tournament and had a blast. Finished 2nd place. I have watched your videos since the early days and I’ve finally got some time to put all your advice to good use playing cash more often and now a tournament. Thank you!
At the end of the video I looked away to get out of my chair.. I looked backed and you were just still waving at me.. creeped me out and made me smile, thanks Brad :)
Brad!!! That 2 of clubs on the river made my heart sink as well!!! So exciting watching you move up stakes. I recently turned 21 and went to vegas last week for my first time. Got to play the bellagio 5/10 which I would consider your home court. I booked a small $300 win which felt great. Looking forward to checking out Wynn next time I’m in vegas. Good luck at the tables and keep the great content coming!
I love that you aren't afraid to describe your thought processes to opponents that will see your blog later. You know that those processes don't really give away much in the future because they're solid and unpredictable. You bluff, you trap, and you median bet when appropriate.
I have repeatedly said what incredible content you have Brad! What makes it awesome is sharing your critical thinking skills and just as important the emotions that you felt playing those particular hands! Congratulations on the nice win and having 100% of it! Great advice at the end of the video on stakes play! I appreciate all that you give to poker!
Thanks again for all the videos. I just moved to Phoenix for work and my family will be moving here in about a year, so it’s nice to have your videos to fill the empty space and pass the time. Good luck on the tables.
That was the most awkward ending 😂😂😂 I thought something was wrong until you faked looking at your watch. Great episode, you make me want to get better and move up in stakes.
Hahaha! That is one long ass wave Brad! Love your VLOGs brother (& Andrew's). Great point about mixing up the games you would feel most profitable! Totally agree! Also, awesome you took time out, even when you were down, to pull a way and meet up with your buddies (both of them on this video). Way to keep your priorities in place. Thanks for setting the example. Best of luck in cashing out at the Lodge at your next session. In the mean time; Make it a wonderful day, and as always, ROCK ON!! @BradOwenPoker
Brad what you said at the end of the video is so true and it took me awhile to get back into that habit. Sometimes it’s 1/3, others 2/5 and sometimes it’s PLO. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out which game to play and others it’s pretty easy. Poker can be fun and profitable at any level.
Those friendships are the best! The bond you guys have will never change, no matter the time apart, every time it will feel like yesterday! Brotherhood! ❤ Love your vids Brad, keep m up, i never miss one! Greetingz from Holland
Man you got me with the announcement! That’s hilarious, because as soon as you said, “I have an announcement to make.”, I thought back to the guy complaining you always make announcements. I thought to myself, “hmm, maybe he always does make announcements?” Good stuff, man.
translation for the folks who didn't get Brad's De Beers joke. That is the company with a monopoly on diamonds and is owned by the Oppenheimer family from the UK. 😂 from your friendly Graduate Gemologist here.
Hey Brad! I'm the guy from the meet up game at the lodge from Switzerland. Thanks for the picture, unfortunately I busted before I got the chance to play with you. Good luck in your sessions!
Hey Brad, you are spot on regarding the SW Steakhouse at the Wynn. Their steaks are superb. My wife and I had celebrated an anniversary and a birthday of hers over there. The service is superb too. I played 1/3 No-Limit Hold 'Em at the poker room at the Encore, and that place is tough. The only reason why I won was because I turned quad kings against a flopped flush. But I'm sure you'll mop up there. ☺
Perhaps you ruin our childrens future by being such a genuinely nice guy and causing them to believe all people are so nice, humble, friendly. Really enjoy your work Brad. Keep it up 👍👍
I'm always stoked to see you win and I love your videos. Back in the early days I told you that I love it when you wave goodbye to us at the end of your videos and I always wave back. This one was hilarious. I know you couldn't see me but I was thinking ok Brad you can stop waving now LOL 😄😆😅🤣😂👋
congrats brad. happy to see you so happy! you deserve it and much more! god speed!! P.S Good call with the jiggities, that 5k bet wouldve scared me away.
Omg. The first person to ever do the right thing on the run it twice. Players behind always want it to run twice to have a better chance to hit his card. Thank you. If you have the best hand to me it is always best to just run it once
I'm not very good at poker, but have gotten better at it for watching your videos. I count it as a win if I get to have a good time for a few hours before busting (I play far lower stakes games than you do). It's been really cool seeing you improve your game over time and explain your thought processes. I appreciate that you don't really focus on 'tells' but let the betting patterns tell the story. That's where I've gotten better. I can tell a story that makes sense some of the time. As nice as it is to win a big pot with the nuts, it's even more fun to win one on a stone cold bluff. When I manage that, I always show the cards. Occasionally I've gotten to run a fake bluff after and get paid. While I know this is how you earn your living, it's obvious you are having a good time doing it (even when having to lick your wounds occasionally after a bad beat). I watch your videos as much for that as anything else. There are some 'pro players' for whom that sadly doesn't seem to be the case. You can see it in their eyes.
Here I was thinking I’m going to be one of the first to see this video.. turns out I got bluffed and taken to value town just like one of Brads many victims 😁 Love your work sir, never miss an episode all the way from Australia 😎
Vil: Want to run it once? Rad: It's up to you. Vil: Twice. Dealer: twice? (hands are tabled) Rad: Let's see here. One time. It's better for the blog. Me: huh
Brad you absolutely destroyed that dude with revealing the bluff - for him to stand on a corner with a sign is so 😢. Please in future don't admit to getting it through - a broken man is the hardest thing to watch 😂😂😂😂
Recently started watching your content. Love the narration. Have you ever considered showing a time to demonstrate how much time passes between the hands you include in the video?
Watch out for scammers telling you to contact them on telegram, it's not me.
We love you Brad!
Wondered why I never received my Bradley Dollars
Brad stop ruining the children!! Think of the children!! 😂
The Goat 👍🏻
If people can't figure that one out they should definitely not be playing poker.
I love how Brad just embraces the memes over the years with the announcements and the overly extended wave. Classic.
"The only way a diamond could be more worthless is if De Beers stopped artificially limiting the supply" 7:45 Brad spitting facts here XD
The guy on the corner was heir to the DeBeers fortune and was trying to raise awareness of Brad's coming for DeBeers.
Right?! this was a sneaky hilarious gem.
Best line thus far
I only watch to the end of these videos to see brad wave at me… best one yet today
Do you wave back though !

“Move up in stakes where they respect your raises” simply never gets old. It’s such a fun part of poker lore, and makes me laugh every time.
“Respecting my raise” in 1/3 means the OMC limp folds his JTs hand from button to your 3X open on BB with 2 other limpers.
If you see the graph associated with this, I have met the guy who's graph that is, lol.
what does this mean?
