Zeus is not known for strength or physicality, only relying on his power of lightning and storms. Even then, he needed help from the majority of his pantheon to kill just four giants, whereas Thor slaughtered hundreds all by himself. Thor would wreck him if they ever fought for real. He has experience and skill on his side.
