Yes, that's why my initial intention was to run the RCA's on the opposite side. But after doing some research, I found out that it's not an issue to run the RCA's with the other wires and that's what I did. I haven't had any noise issue since the install.

Now I need to figure out if the intermittent static on my Monsoon is a failing amp... or from water previously getting into foot well and corroding the harness or CCM (0532 low voltage signal code for passenger airbag makes me think several issues may be affected by corrosion.) I don't know if a new amp will fix problem of loud static on all sources, including CD. Any suggestions how to diagnose?

You should always run the rca's on the opposite side of the car, they can pick up engine noise when it's that close to the power wire.

@@CraftyWorkshopBuilds i ran all my wires in a sleeve and i dont got noise i think its a myth
