I totally agree with you about the kid! I thought she w as going to get knocked over!!! Where the hell are the parents?? I used to cover this tune in wedding bands in the 1980s. I'm glad the song stuck around at weddings as it is quite perfect. These two have got it down. A couple that dances together, stays together :).

The kid could have gotten kicked or the two dancing could have. It would be cute if you saw the kid in the back, but it's not the kid's moment. It's theirs. It bugs me when people let their kids do whatever. My kid knows there are boundaries

The guy is probably a professional ball room dancer. He is much more restrain here. I can tell he's got more in a more formal setting.
TheBambinoitaliano He is not a professional, not even an amateur but he probably loves dancing and has been practicing for let's say 3-4years at least.
My cousin is an amateur(you should check the differences between and amateur and a professional in dancing because even if you dance at the WDFS World Championship and you are under 21 you are still considered amateur) and he is an order of magnitude better even with heavy restrain.
I've also been practicing ballroom dance for years and competed at hobby level at 16+ years.
It's also obvious the girls hold him back, she probably learned to dance from him.

The guy is really good. I have to give them a lot of credit for tackling one of the best known dance numbers of all time. It's great when wedding are really open & about having fun. Also, I thought that the little girl that came in at 2:50 was pretty cool.
I'm nearly certain she wasn't supposed to run out there XD. Her parents probably weren't watching her, which I think is really inconsiderate, considering how much time and effort they put into the dance!

+Theo Lamp - I understand why a lot of people won't agree with me. But, sometimes I just enjoy kids being kids & seeing them enjoy the moment. I would rather see something like this, than see them tied to a seat playing with their cell phone. The little girl gave me a smile :).

He's dancing really really well and yes she's not as good as him but she's doing her best and I think it looks great. What I like most is that they use the original dance steps and moves that Patrick and Jennifer danced in the film. This looks so much better than the crap they do in the Dirty Dancing musical. You should compare that.. a difference like day and night.

GREAT DIRTY DANCING FIRST WEDDING DANCE. I THINK THEY WERE BOTH GOOD DANCERS. BUT THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT THE NATURAL MOVES OF THE GROOM THAT WERE SO GOOD...HE SHOWED AN EFFORTLESS PERFORMANCE. THE BRIDE WAS OF COURSE VERY GOOD AS WELL. BUT WHEN I MAN CAN HAVE THAT NATURAL FLOW TO HIS MOVES, HE IS A GREAT DANCER. VERY GIFTED! AND YES, I LOVE TO DANCE.
