Take the area on the back side of the back wall of the median and make an area for equipment storage. Couple of columns and some tin and your new kit has a home.

I started watching 5 years aho when you started naming highing highland calves. I was, and still am, facinated with highland cattle. I just went back to see the heifer name Meghan. Thought it funny. There has been quite a change in the farm. The Jo and marriage, the equipment, the land and flooding, buildings, responsibilities. Can't say to a 67 to 72 year old lady that it hasn't gotten boring on occasion. It has but I like you and dad and now Jo and I'm glad I stuck with you. Going back I see I missed a couple of eps or forgotted so I'm going to rewatch some. looking forward to some pitter patter of little feet. Love and hugs.

Hi Tom, Your dad mentioned the clean area reminded me of when I was a lad working for an animal feed firm. One day we visited a large pig farm and had to drive through a dip in the road - a wheel wash - This was filled with disinfectant and a barrier to prevent the spread of disease.

It looks good is it a new calf barn 😁😁 If it not too late you could put tyre wash at edge of the shed just before the slurry tank so it washes the tyres when you run through but, Piggeries do for bio hazzard over here and was thinking with it dealing with slurry and feet problems. With all those sheds everyone should have a water tank, just think how much water you could collect and save even it just side of the big shed. You'd be surprised how quickly one of the biggest tanks i've seen over flow. Enjoyed the video and drone view and music.

Whenever my late father put down any concrete just before it set he would get a twig and write the date in it. We know all the dates of when our sheds were built including the concrete water tanks he built next to the cowshed he built in the 70's. I think it's very special as I'm fourth generation on the farm my great grandfather selected early 1900's Australia 🇦🇺 and hopefully my neice or nephew will take it on when they're old enough.

I learned and earned so much more on other farms.
I went to university, made money and bought land.
    Even land beside father's patch.
I worked my land , cleaned up hedgerows and drainage.
Rented it out. Bought more land.
I keep growing and bank account.

Now for the burning question, "Farm Uniforms", will we see one and all festooned and draped in a classical home designed attire. Luke will indeed look quite a dandy dressed in Tuxedo bow tie with all the trimmings, Are Tiger skin ( artificial of course ) tractor seat coverings on the cards, or the basic hessian none water proof type. Keep up the good work Tom, your farming posts fantastic.
