Oh, please. Yes, of course Christ is King. But be careful before jumping on the Candace Owens bandwagon.
She didn't get fired from the Daily Wire because she tweeted "Christ is King!" or because she quoted the Bible, or because of "the perfidious Jews". She ran into trouble for a series of embarassing, openly anti-Israel statements and weird self-promoting behavior (defending neo-national socialist Nick Fuentes; actively spreading smears against the French president's wife).
With a history like that, I predict it's only a matter of time before she reverses course again and goes full anti-Catholic on us.

Ah, Murray, you are not afraid to say 'Christ is King.' But shouldn't you say, 'May Christ be King'? Because Christ is not King of our country. King is a temporal term. King is a political term. It's a reality. A king, if he is really a king, makes his policies operate in his realm. His nation is a Christian nation. Its laws are Christian. It does not permit divorce. Its economic policies favor the poor. It does not permit the promotion of homosexual and heterosexual sexual sin. It certainly does not permit abortion. How can we say (with a straight face!) that our dear Lord Christ is King of a nation that behaves the way ours does within our own borders and around the world? Our country makes Christ cry. If you really mean that Christ is King, then it behooves you and Catholic Family News to enunciate the policies and the strategies to obtain those policies that would make us a Christian nation again. Not to merely report the news of our decline, but to give us a clear way forward to reverse it. To have speakers who know the way. It doesn't take any courage to say 'Christ is King' when you don't take the indeed scary steps to make that happen (one of which would be to be called communist for the economic policies involved, to the provocation of your base of support which is in economics firmly protestant). Please forgive me for saying all this, but it breaks my heart to hear anyone say proudly and boldly "Christ is King" as if it were true here in our nation and yet not begin the long hard battle to make it true.

      Dear Janet,
This is an interesting comment. I’ll address some of the points you made on our Weekly News Roundup this week as it is quite relevant to some of our stories.
May God grant you many joyful years,
      -Murray

@@CFN_Official Oh, thank you! I am always afraid I am overstepping my pay grade. By the way, it is funny you'd wish me many joyful years. I re-read my comment to see if I mentioned my birthday Sunday. I did indeed hit the big eight-zero.But how did you know? Is it my verbose writing style? Haha. Can't change, won't.
