I got into quarter zips this season too and I absolutely love them now. It's a nice dressier option for sweaters when I don't wanna wear a hoodie and seem too laid back nor a crew neck sweater because I want to have a different look that day. I mostly wear quarter zips with just t-shirts underneath and sometimes a button down underneath. It's just the best of both worlds when you want something different from sweaters and hoodies, but not step out of your comfort zone too much. I also have started getting into cardigans this season. I bought one that came in the mail that's made of lambswool and I love it too. I find it more casual than a quarter zip, but dressier than a crewneck sweater and hoodie. Quarter zips and cardigans seem to be the type of sweaters men steer away from because of feeling they have to wear it with button downs or nicer stuff because they aren't hoodies or sweaters, but you can make both those items casual and they'll be great :)
