Saw them live for the first time a week ago. They opened with this beautiful song. Like a comforting fuzzy blanket being wrapped around you. It moved me to tears. This is just a sublime band. Easily one of the best live bands I've ever seen. Please do yourself a great service and go see these guys live. They deserve it, and so do you.
I'm in my mid sixties now, a product of the truly great music of the 60s and 70s. This is a great song that compares. I just came upon it last week and have listened to it, alternating with the studio version, a couple hundred times. It keeps swirling in my head and I can't get it out. Now I can't work or sleep and I'm grinding my teeth. It's their fault. Dammit.
We need an All Them Witches live on KEXP playlist/album. These guy are awesome, but are somehow even more awesome on here.
They thrive on their live performances. It's a treat hearing them jam at this quality. Totally need a "Live at KEXP" album featuring all of their sets.
The KEXP studio crew is first rate. So many times these sessions are better than the label studio release...

This is the first song I ever heard from this band. Not sure if the universe was sending me a signal or not, but the lyrics just hit deep and hard for some reason. I'm hooked for good, I can't stop listening to them now. So much awesome here, I can't even. I hope to see them live someday. Thank you, KEXP.
Same brother. This shit was a light at the end of the tunnel for me, during a time when I was overcoming some substance abuse/ addiction problems. Not saying that's what these lyrics mean, but damn they hit hard when I was just starting to feel better after some post acute withdrawas.... having done plenty of grinding my teeth and lying awake 😂

I discovered ATW years back from one of their previous KEXP sessions. They have been on a steady rotation ever since. So good to hear some new KEXP jams from them. These guys are a live driven band. Their albums are great, but the magic happens when they are playing their tracks live.
The sustain on that guitar... i've never wanted to sell a kidney for something more.
Keep shure it is not your own. Ben shares all his knowledge about tone on his channel.

Ben uses a short subtle delay to add sustain, but that korina V has something special. Saw them in Nashville recently and that Flying V was something special. Banker guitars rule

Its not jus kexp, they sound equally good in a live venue. Seen them twice, once on Halloween and both shows were great. I highly recommend you see them live. Catch them at a small venue and you may even get to chat w them for a second. Cool as f guys. I know Robby would remember me. Good time. Miss u Robby!
