We travel from Shillong to Sohra, and on the way visit Dawki - which is famous for it's crystal clear Umngot River, said to be one of the cleanest rivers in Asia and the cleanest river in India, and lies on the Bangladesh border, Although the rain affects the transparency during our visit, we recommend to visit Dawki between November and February to witness the pristine beauty of the Dawki River in its full glory.
