Is this a running joke in the Fandom? I've seen this comment on most of her songs and even a melanie martinez song.
My parents were fighting with each other, screaming at each other. I couldn’t stand it. I turned this song up so loud I was sure they could hear it coming from my earphones. So loud I was sure I would come out deaf when the song ended. But it was alright, because it drowned them out. And there was nothing but this song and myself.

I did the same thing when my mother would scream her head off at me for hours. let people do what they need to do to make it through the day. you don’t know what they’re going through. And someday, that kid won’t need to blast the music to keep the screaming out anymore. someday, they’ll play it softly, somewhere safe and quiet.
@@andreah9587 it's damaging to your ears regardless, it's just not healthy and you could very well go deaf later in life if you do this even a few times in your childhood, it seems worth it rn but later if you actually do get hearing problems you will absolutely regret it, so i'm just stating that it's a bad idea, my parents used to fight almost every day when i was young and i also coped with music but i never ever put it any louder than i'd have it normally and i'm so glad i didn't do that because any kind of damage that could have caused would absolutely not be worth it, don't wanna end up like my mom who absolutely fucked up her ears to the point where she talks way too loud now because she just doesn't realize how loud she's being, it's literally depressing to see and all because she was irresponsible with it when she was young, now we all constantly have to remind her. hearing damage comes in a lot of different forms and is very easy to obtain, don't even risk that for anything, don't be stupid.

Had a pretty bad panic attack over exams today.
Wasn't the first time I had a panic attack, however it was worse than any ive ever had before. Almost 2 hours and i still havent entirely calmed down. The one thing that relaxed me at that very moment was this song. Its nighttime right now, and I just woke up from a nap. I'm feeling so much better now but i really don't think I could've done this without this song.
I will always remember this time, and i will always love this song and mitski. Thank you mitski for making such beautiful and amazing music that has always helped me in some sort of way. You will always be my favorite music artist💙

This is my favorite mitski song I like to come here often to listen it brings back great memories of my best friend who has sadly passed away, but I will never forget him. His name was Francis I still remember the day we first met, it was at a petstore of all places but friendships can bloom anywhere. One of his favorite things to do was make fried rice, he loveeeeed his fried rice and I loved it too the way he would work the wok, flames dancing, vegetables flying it would always come out perfectly, some people don't think it's possible for people like him to fry rice but I'll be the first to say hell yeah he fried this rice. He lived near the ocean, one could consider him a diver, he loved hanging around the ocean floor because there would often be little treats for him there. Unfortunately he died doing what he loved, when a secondary consumer ate him. I was the only one there at the funeral considering it was 16000 feet under the sea. Though he's passed I'll keep these memories close to my heart they'll always remind me of all the good times we've had over the years. Thank you Francis, forever, for being the best shrimp a man could ask for.

this really makes me think of my old deceased friend whom i met on the #SHRIMPTV channel on the youtube. he was kind, and he had so much love in his heart and so much algae in his stomach at any given moment. his name was Crangon Vulagaris and he always donated to charity. on the weekends he would volunteer at soup kitchens. he would always jump in the pot of soup to "add to the flavor" which in hindsight was really weird but i will look back on these memories with teary eyes and a fondness in my heart. god ill miss him so much. i hope you are well in this tough time for you. i know how hard it can be-- i'll never look at fried rice or soup the same way after this. we will never learn to live without them but i know we can choose to live with the memories of them. god bless your soul i think. i hope you have a day

@@saltcarameI I got too comfortable, took her being here for me for granted. I went thru personal things with my family and took it out on her because I had no one else to turn to. She held on for so long and I didn’t even realize what a terrible partner I was being after it was too late. I tried so hard to make things right but the damage was done. She pretended it was okay but the flare in her eyes was gone. Every day was a argument and I couldn’t fix things like I always used to. I moved states with my family and it seemed things would be better, we hugged each other for the last time and spend 3 hours sobbing in each others eyes. Talking about how things are gonna be okay, how distance will help us and grow our love stronger. She wrote me a note and told me to read it once I got to Georgia. I read it and it broke my heart. She told me she knew I wouldn’t let go if I knew she didn’t want to be with me anymore. I hate myself and no one on this planet knows except you or anyone else who reads this comment. She’s moved on and I heard she has another man to fill my role, which only broke me further. She always told me she could never love anyone else.

I don't want this to sound demeaning, or diminish your feelings on the matter. Your feelings are true to what you know, but yes, this is pretty much just teenage angst. And I'm going to sound like parents in a movie here, but your perspective is limited, compared to most people older than you.
Your friend with 6 bfs may have had a lot of "boyfriends", but in such a short period they never actually knew each other. Her relationships were built on infatuation, and probably not any actual feeling, probably.
Which is not an insult to her either. To a 20+ year old, we would not call those "boyfriends". Instead, they would be called "one night stands", "friends with benefits", or a "casual fling". Essentially, those relationships were just for fun, and not with any real emotional meat. Your friend was just having fun, in the same way someone plays video games to have fun.
Not many people form relationships at that age either. Just because the people directly around you do, doesn't mean everyone is. Do what you find fun, don't feel like there's some expectation to be in a relationship. There isn't, the only guarantee in life is that we exist, and then we die.
I don't really have any advice regarding your parents. Sounds like a bad situation. Most people that I know that have dealt with parents like that just weathered it until they moved out. So I guess you can just wait till college to move out and be happier, but that comes with a financial burden that goes beyond the kind of advice I can give in a RUclips comment.
Look, basically, life is terrible and absurd. The only thing to do is what we want to do, and what we can do. If you want more practical advice from me, read the Stormlight Archives. I think they are decent books, but someone your age and situation might appreciate them more. It has it's moments for sure.

To me this song has always been more of a message to a childhood self, and the sadness that comes with not being a kid anymore. It sounds like a desperate plea to be your child hood self again, and when you look at it from that point of view it just seems even more devastating.

I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 2:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the chip go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the chip is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on chip . hail chip. hail chip . The spinning chip, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the chip spins, showing its lightly salt covered yellow skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the chip scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating chip. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of chip I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a bacon I have ever seen especially on 1:24. I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. The work put in to this is incredibly inspiring. The graphics, the animation, the music, so much thought was put into it. This has remined me that you can do anything you put your mind to. Not even mentioning the memories, this makes me feel like an infant again, just laying my eyes on this beautiful masterpiece gives me all the good feelings in life. I also understand what happiness is again from this. Not even to mention the most incredible part that is 2:10. chip spinning has changed my life for the better. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the chip go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. So much great graphic design, so much suspense, so much greatness in this one video. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on chip . hail chip . hail chip. The spinning chip, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a chip do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the chip spins, showing its lightly salt covered yellow skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the chip scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating chip.
