An UNUSUAL Spin Swipe With Kate! 😵💫 Fluid Art With A Cell Activator

- Happy birthday to Kate! Today she is doing a spin swipe almost entirely on her own!
Our spin swipe is inspired by @lisamarvinart and uses @MOLLYSARTISTRY‘s pouring medium recipe of 2 parts US floetrol to 1 part Creative Inspirations gloss medium and varnish.
All my paints are mixed more or less one part paint to 2 parts pouring medium, then thinned with water if necessary to reach a thick or medium-thick consistency. For the mica pigments, they are mixed into gloss gel first before adding 3 parts pouring medium.
Sky Blue (Creative Inspirations)
Dark Navy (Creative Inspirations Phthalo Blue and Black, about 6:1 ratio)
Light Magenta (Master’s Touch Acrylics)
Metallic Gold (Creative Inspirations)
Velvet (This Little Piggy mica pigment)
Metallic Purple (Craft Smart)
Cell Activator: Amsterdam Titanium White mixed 1:3 with Australian Floetrol

I'll watch the other videos I haven't watched yet that has your kids next time do this with her and Lauren but use Rinske Douna's style

Oh my gosh sees adorable! She’s done well paying attention to how to do this. Spread the base layer like a pro. Maybe spinning slower would make it easier for her just a thought. I see many artists us round canvases that might help. She does a great job. I’m always a wreck when I do anything lol
Yeah she did great! I know for me I have to spin it hard enough to complete the full swipe around. Hard to get the feel on the first try, though…
Where do you get the spinner?? Trying to find one however do not know what to look for.
I bought it on Amazon! Look for cake spinners. I don’t remember what brand this is, but I found it through a Left Brained Artist video…
