I'm getting the 55in sometime today. These settings are a great help thanks
I'm glad you liked the settings, I hope it helps you to obtain a better experience with this great TV.
Purchased the 65" C1 last week, thank you for the review.
Thank you for your comment
Finally pulled the trigger and got the 65" C1 on Newegg for $1796 plus $180 gift card! $1616 for a 65" OLED is a steal. Can't wait to test out my RTX 3090 and PS5 on it after using a 4k60 QLED for the last 5yrs
I think you'll definitely notice the difference. Enjoy it!
@@TVHiFiProinEnglish magnificent so far! And since I'm in a very dark room I actually turned the OLED pixel brightness down to about 85 and it's still brilliant!
What are your impressions? Does G-Sync work well?
You have 3 different settings in the description? How do I select SDR to apply the settings & how do I select HDR?
I've the same TV! I'll try also these settings! 🙂
Ok, tell us what the result is
Hi, I have the Sony A80j. I’ve been on the fence on returning it for the C1. I’m just afraid of making a mistake doing so. I do plays PS5 and Xbox series X.
Hi Jason,
Both are great TV's for every type of use including for gaming. The main difference between the two is the sound, which is better in the Sony A80J thanks to its Acoustic Surface sound system. But the LG C1 has more option for gaming with the Game Optimizer dashboard and its compatibility with Dolby Vision in 4K and 120 Hz with Xbox Series X.
If you already have the Sony I won't change it, because it performs very similar to the LG C1, with the exceptions I've told you.
@@TVHiFiProinEnglish Let's not also forget to add in the C1 has lower response time, VRR, ALLM, G Sync and Freesync support.
We want everyone to know the full features of the higher end LG Oleds so people make the right decision in this case the viewer said "he play games" so out of the A80J and C1 the C1 is a no brainer.
Sony A80j has a better picture quality especially for movies and better sound. Only thing LG C1 has over Sony is VRR, lower lag, and better motion with the LG C1. I would stay with the Sony you have because Sony might come out with a VRR update this yr...maybe
The a80 only has 2 2.1 ports, no vrr, fewer features, etc. get the C1. This is coming from a MAJOR Sony fanboy. The only thing I’m not a fan of on the C1 is the UI, but that’s a very small price to pay for a better and cheaper TV. Also, Sony gets its panels from LG.
I should note, however, that I bought both and returned the C1. The A80j just has a better picture/processor.
Do it Sonys OLED have bad motion
which one has the better image between Sony A1 and LG C1 , Thanks
Well I suppose you have the Sony A1 because is from 2017, and you are asking if it's worth it to change it, is that right? Both are going to provide a similar picture quality, although the LG has HDMI 2.1 ports, VRR an other features for gaming. Also has new inplementations to reduce the risk of burn in. So it's clear that because of the implementation of new features is better, but if you already own a Sony A1, I won't change it yet, because is a fantastic TV, I'd maybe wait for the new 2022 models.
@@TVHiFiProinEnglish Exact I have Sony A1 65" I think to change for LG C1 83" but I m afraid that the quality is lower.. expecialy for the dark scene..
SO?
@@did3d523 The picture quality is not going to be compromised, the C1 is impressive in most areas. Sony usually has a bit better picture processor but that model is from 2017 so I think the LG C1 is going to be better. If you have the distance necessary and you have the budget to buy a 83" TV I would buy it, but it's up to you because it's a big acquisition.
@@TVHiFiProinEnglish that is the reason why I ask Question 4000€ now for the 83" . I afraid about the TrueMotion of LG Look Horrible ! compar to the Sony , I have Read that LG tv is very too Blue screen and for fix this mistack we need to loose 100 nits light ... :-(
Waaaay too reflective .. even C2. Not bright enuff for bright living condition during daytime and HDR loses its benefits due to low brightness nits. Went with Samsung in view of this 2 issues even though LGs are cheaper at least on Singapore. Cheers.
Besides the fact LG cut coners and out 40Gbps ports LOLOLOL
