I luckily stumbled across your channel. In 1961 when I was a 16 year old, I spent the summer in Betterton, on Maryland's Eastern Shore (Kent County). My maternal grandmother had a friend who owned a small "hotel" and restaurant in the town. At that time an excursion boat from Baltimore would dock in the town after dropping off a younger crowd at a Tolchester, MD amusement park. I'd meet the older crowd and hand out menus and offer a ride up the hill for anyone who wanted a lift. Lot's of nice memories of Kent County Maryland. I suggest you visit Chestertown, Maryland, which has quite a few historic buildings, and a small liberal arts college named after George Washington.
