This cutscene animation cinematics is taken from the Archon Quest Chapter IV: Act II or Part 2 titled "As Light Rain Falls Without Reason" where Childe a.k.a Tartaglia was charged for the serial disappearance of young girls cases and became the prime suspect. Thereby he was summoned to the Court of Fontaine in front of chief justice Neuvillette and prosecutor Furina to stand trial. The atmosphere is starting to get more intense by the second, gladly Navia and her group arrived to save the scene.

Wow, it been a while since there is a legitimately powerful character that isn't just aesthetics. This dude actually feels intimidating, one shoting Childe, who is stronger than half the cast, is impressive.

It's more to do with the 3 Realms of Genshin I think. The Dragon Sovereigns of Genshin belong to the Light Realm. Opposing the Light Realm, is the Dark Realm which is the Abyss and the void. Neuvillette being from the Light Realm means that anything from the Dark Realm counters him. And because Childe's Foul Legacy transformation comes directly from the Abyss, it managed to slightly hurt Neuvillette. I'm sure Neuvillette himself managed to figure out that Childe's power is from the Abyss just by this cutscene when he looked back at him.
I love how Neuvillette was a bit suprised that he got scratched by Childe it really reminds me when Legolas in the Hobbit got hit and his nose started bleeding and his expression was like ''What is this red stuff on my face?''
This really indicates that Neuvillette is very powerful to the point that he is not used to seeing himself bleed or injured.

yes we get one from every archon so far, one of them is signora's mask after shogun oneshotted her. this might be the 'childe death prediction' everyone was talking about. something will most likely happen at the end of this chapter in archon quest. but i cant think of why his vision was malfunctioning in the first place. he was also so casual about it as if it happens every other month

Vishaps and Dragons are light realm beings and easily susceptible to void realm (abyssal) powers. Neuvillette had to stop Childe before things went out of hand even for him.
also could be because that form does drain childe's life force, he stopped him midway because the it's now obvious by their reactions that the two(furina and neuvillette) know that abyss powers drain life forces/kill the user, which honestly i'm happy he stepped in because childe needs to stop using it before he gets himself killed 😭

This is surprising actually because Childe isn't really vulnerable during his transformation unlike many anime chara transforming.
Childe create an aura that pretty much push away anyone trying to get close to him.
During his boss fight even the Traveler is pushed away by the force of his transformation and can't get close. Yet Neuvillette easily pushed through and konck him out.
Heck Childe has Abyss energy which is fine for Traveler as they're not from Teyvat but other being can really get affected by it.
Neuvillette if true about being Hydro Dragon is an elemental being to boot so even more susceptible to the corrosion.

At least that's what was said, its possible Hoyo retcon this by saying the informations of the books were incomplete or some shit.
So I dunno about current Neuv, he might be weaker than Azhdaha for all we know or Childe might stand a chance.

Traveler can't approach childr when transforming bc he has some kind of barrier water when transforming to delusion and thunder when transforming to foul in both cases you can't approach him but neuvilette could and knocked him without problems. Although it is quite clear that neuvilette would be weaker than the original dragon form. But he wouldn't be significantly weaker too. He is not concidered pure just bc of his human form nothing was said if he was in the first place weaker at all. He clearly is stronger than furina bc he talks to her however he wants and furina can't stand her ground with him and just glares if he was a normal citizen she would not just let it slide.

We are nit really sure how fontaine works. Furina is clearly scared of neuvilette and doesn't dare to stand against him and neuvilette doesn't seem to give a damn about her even seems to clash her and tease her from time to time. Even appart from court.
The strength of so many characters came to question in Fontaine's archon quest. Remember none of them are weak nor the strongest. And that's the best part, the fight between strong individuals.
One shotting someone mid transformation is so crazy I thought everyone was gonna sit back and just watch like in every other fictional piece of media 😭

Fun Fact Childe has 3 abilities
1) Hydro vision
2)Electro Delusion
3) Abyss Transformation
For those Curious why Childe does not grow old or age when using Delusion is because his Delusion is not using his lifeforce as a trade off to be able to use it. My guess is that he is using either his hydro vision OR Abyss Mask to Fuel the Delusion eith power Rather then his lifeforce.
And for Foul Legacy he is basicaly drained due to 2 reasons
1) Using both Vision and Delusion
2) As stated by Dainsleif the abyss is like a poison to almost every living being. Not exactly sure how Abyss Herald/Mages stay alive but its supposedly due to the immortal Curse inflicted on the khaenrians.
Some people are just immune to the Delusion's side effects, Diluc used his Delusion a lot on the comics and he was fine, yet his father just placed it on his body and was immediately borderline dead

Even the regular Fatui enemies have masks and they all use delusions

His vision stopped workin in Fontaine and gave it to Traveller for safe keeping and some time after that he used his delusion without the vision against the mechs in the court of Fontaine which means he is using the power of the Abyss to fuel his Delusion

I just realized that at this point Neuvillette didn't achieve his full dragonhood yet but still knocking out Childe, sheesh
I knew that he would finish him off in one blow and even hit him before completing the transformation while no one dared to approach him while he was transforming.

Even during the Archon War it was only after the other gods decided to advance upon their lands(his and Guizhong's) that they joined the war, they had no plans to fight in it originally.

@@donkey_mediocre7246 Zhongli is very powerful yes, one of the most powerful archons, but as others said just because he lived over 6000 years doesnt mean he FOUGHT for 6000 years. He's literally been shown to retreat and live peacefully, and let others fight instead of intervening. I'm sure he's not as powerful as he used to be and that his skills are fading. Idk why people say he has thousands of years of fighting experience. He doesn't, he has a few hundreads years combined at best, but the other 5700 years he spent not doing much, not even training.

FREAKING OUT OVER HOW THEY USED HIS TWO THEMES (CHARACTER AND BOSS) AND DIFFERENT KEY AND INSTRUMENTATION AND THE ORGAN AT THE END AND THEN IN THE NARWHAL CUTSCENE HOW THEY MADE HIS BOSS THEME SOUND HEROIC AND AGDHHD
I think my favourite part of this cutscene is that the two travellers have slightly different reactions, Lumine reaches her hand forward when Childe is doing his thing meanwhile Aether stands still with Paimon, I like that they’re not shown as the same person but rather as unique individuals despite being twins, like when their voicelines don’t match up entirely
I like that as well.
I wanna pull for childe after that amazing action sequence
