I love that term sacramental universalism I'll have to start using it.
Another meaningless term.
What an educated, eloquent, and affable young man. Much success to him.
I used to be a Jehovah's witness for almost 20 years. The Jehovah's witness teaching of annihilationism tormented me a lot. Nowadays I lean toward a sort of quasi universalism or hopeful universalism. God bless you my brother in Christ✨🕊️✝️☦️🕯️🕯️🕯️🍞🍷
Yesssss. This reverberates in my soul
Episcopalian/Anglican here. In the book of common prayer there are prayers for the salvation and redemption of all.
Thank you again for another powerful testimony!🙏🏼🎉
Thank you. I really like how you explained why Jesus died for us thank you
Jesus 'died' for his daddy's/self gratification.
@@williamoarlock8634Jesus died for us, as co-suffering love. To be where we are.
@@williamoarlock8634 You have a very sad hobby.
@@YoshiBlad3 Nowhere near as *sad* as those that get off on this crap. 😉
Good conversation!
Appreciated.
I agree that eternal annihilation, rather than eternal conscious torment, is a 'step' in the right direction, but I suggest you dig even deeper.
If even one of God's creatures is ETERNALLY annihilated, how does eternal annihilation equate to the extinction of evil? Isn't being eternally annihilated an evil? When scripture says (in effect): 'oh death, where is your sting?' Wouldn't death be able to reply: 'Uh... don't you remember all those for whom Christ died that have now been annihilated? There's my sting...The loss of them!'
God is in fact, the Savior of all mankind, especially (but not exclusively) of those who currently have come to belief. All WILL come to believe. Every knee will bow, and every tongue will acclaim Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the Father.
I know it may be an extreme view even in this channel. But I have read that Origen believed in something like reincarnation, in some instances. ie, not that you reincarnate as someone else in this world. But that you may go on to live several lifetimes worth of learning your lesson before you finally "get it".
I think something like this is way more plausible than eternal torture that simply NEVER ends. Even 10 million years of torture that eventually does end, even that would be more sane and compassionate that torture that never ends.
Just my view.
I recently finished editing a book that is about varieties of Christian universalism. One of the chapters is by a UMC pastor who believes in reincarnation and universal salvation.
This is a lot to be said about this. Although I don’t really preach about it.
9:24 It's easy to look down on others ,but there is a Unitarian Universalist Christian Fellowship and there are books such as: Christian Voices in Unitarian Universalism (Kathleen Rolenz, Editor) and Christ for Unitarian Universalist by Scotty McLennan. People are looking for a spiritual home and they are not finding it in traditional churches (many find a home in Unitarian Universalism). Also, Unitarians & Universalists were active in the Abolitionist & Civil Rights Movements (they acted on their Christian convictions which are a foundational part of their faith). The Peace & Love of Christ to All ✝☦
Awesome well done Godspeed bro Maranatha ❤❤❤❤❤
Middle Eastern dead desert words.
How do I learn more about sacramental universalism? I can’t find anything else from this priest online.
His RUclips channel is @maverickwitlouw6330
Universalism posits that all men are immortal. The Bible says...plainly and often...that no one is immortal now and only a few will ever be. Those two claims cannot both be true.
“if something doesn’t make sense, its not true” No thats an argument from incredulity. You, or really anyone don’t have to understand something for it to be true. Can any person fully understand the Trinity? No. Does that disprove the Trinity. Of course not.
If something is logically impossible, it cannot be true. ECT literally defies the basic meanings of words.
this is not an argument from incredulity, but an appeal to the laws of logic.
From one false doctrine to another. Very sad. Universalism is not christianity and there is NO "Christ centered" universalism. Very disturbing how foolish people are in these comments just ignoring the Bible entirely, and believing the very low I.Q. man made belief of universalism.
:-) Tells us how you really feel.
I agree but maybe the low IQ comment was a bit prideful
Take a walk and shake it off brother lol
Sorry you believe in either a loser or sadist version of Jesus, my friend. You don’t even grasp who he is.
So Peter was wrong in Acts 3:21 about apocastasis or the times of universal restoration? I pray your eyes are opened to the truth of universal reconciliation and restoration. The Gospel is Good News not bad that is proclaimed.
