Another thing that can heavily impact the FPS is if you play on the steam version. Steam version of big map BR can make you lose about half your FPS. Battlenet and Game Pass version don't have this same issue.
Variable rate shading Make the visual noisy and film grain At 1080 So disabled it can be normal texture more visable and no noisy grain and noisy texture so whats your thoughts?
Regarding the shader quality setting. If you set it to anything higher than low, the windows / glass areas start having reflections, and it is much hader to see people through them. If you keep it at low you will have a competitive advantage, since your visibility will be better. Tbh, this is very unfortunate since game looks like trash on low :(
If you go to Skyline bo6 map, the difference is very obvious. It is a good map to test that setting. I don't know if some other setting can change the situation, but I doubt it.
Hi, I like the in-depth videos on the settings you make but I encountered an anomaly and since Warzone 1 I've been playing on the Battelnet launcher and today I wanted to see if anything changed on the performance on Steam and in fact with the same settings on Battelnet I get 140 fps but on Steam 70-80fps. Do you experience this drop in fps when changing platforms?
Thank you!❤ I look forward to you changing your game preferences in the future; I can't wait to see you in the upcoming Battlefield! Excited to play Stalker 2 and GrayZoneWarfare update soon.
Cheers man, COD is just always very big and very rewarding in terms of views ;) But I'm definitely covering other games as well like Battlefield and maybe also looking at GrayZone!

I wonder if DLSS is only working on certain systems. I have a gaming laptop RTX 4080 and Intel 13900HX. Averaged about 40 more frames with DLSS Performance on.
It might be worth revisiting the Black Ops 6 guide. I'm wondering if the Season 1 integration changed the way the settings worked for BO6 as well, I'm noticing no big FPS losses from increasing FOV in bo6 since WZ integration for instance. And since Shader Quality increases the GPU useage to almost 100% why is it a -22 in the end summary when in your specific example its +30 fps for medium overlooking military?
I currently dont have the time Im afraid... regarding the FPS in the example: the performance flucuated a lot and I averaged over 7 runs of 10 sec each for the number in the plot
Do you think they’ll address the overly "plastic" appearance caused by low shader quality settings? I’ve noticed this issue in multiplayer as well, particularly on the Scud map
@@TechGuides I recently reviewed a recorded gameplay video on Scud, where I played with low shader quality in the past. Surprisingly, the visuals back then looked significantly better-there was no "plastic" effect on textures. I think the warzone integration is the cause of the quality loss.
Man idk what’s going on but I’m averaging 100fps on low and normal, and I barely even see any FPS changes on very low as well, I’ve been in my game files and changed those settings nothing seemed to change, is it because of my system? I’m running with a 5600x and a 3060ti on 1440p, I’m assuming it’s because of my switch to 1440p gaming so I bought a new cpu (5700x3d) I’m hoping that’ll fix my problem if not idk what else is the issue
Now for texture resolution, you said playing on normal would be impossible if you had 8GB if Vram. I have a 4060 8GB vram and i had no issues with playing on normal. I was playing on normal last night with no issues. Using the in game benchmark, my frame rates are basically the same playing on Normal/low/very low. Because the Nvidia driver does not support rebar for Black Ops 6 (or any modern game in fact). So enabling it really does nothing as its blocked on a driver level. Because of that I would also recommend to disable it in BIOS to avoid any potential hickups.

7700x / 7900xtx / ddr5-6000 (2 x 16gb) / 1440p minimum preset with 100% resolution scale. That's my setup and with SAM (rebar) turned On, my fps drops as low as 120 the moment I face the center of the zombies maps or the battle royale map. When I look outward, the fps goes back up to 200+. This issue existed in MW3 zombies and Warzone as well. SAM On does yield better average fps on the multiplayer maps and benchmark though, it just seems to cause this problem on the very large maps. BeefyTech did a video on it here: ruclips.net/video/7D7DUoStfJ4/видео.html I wish I could leave SAM on. Do you have any suggestions on what could be wrong?
In mw3 on zombies or wz u MUST disable sam, on multi just enable sam. In black ops i found in the builded benchmark I noticed SAM performs better, but in real gameplay with SAM turned off it works better.

Are people really having that many problems? I don’t use low settings. Even upscaled to 4K with vsr I don’t get anything lower than 160-180 fps. Without vsr on 1440p I get well over 230fps
I have a rtx 4070 gpu and i5-14600k cpu. Before the update i had 180-200 fps, now i got only 120-140 fps, with same settings as before.
5:23 Bro das sieht aus wie PS1 was für "Besser" ? XD
Ja brudi der Vergleich ist halt mit low settings. Geht ja auch um die Schärfe nicht die Graphik

BeefyTech did a video on it here: ruclips.net/video/7D7DUoStfJ4/видео.html
I wish I could leave SAM on. Do you have any suggestions on what could be wrong?
Do you still have the exact same issue in black ops 6 warzone integration?
@@amonx3579 Yes.
In mw3 on zombies or wz u MUST disable sam, on multi just enable sam. In black ops i found in the builded benchmark I noticed SAM performs better, but in real gameplay with SAM turned off it works better.
@@KOSA1337 do you have tested that ReBAR On has any negatives in Black Ops 6 Zombies? like MW3 Zombies?
@@amonx3579 nope sry. Just remembered in mw3 that was huge boost fps when i turned it off.
I like how your old AMD system is powered by a 7900XTX, literally their fastest card to date, comparable to the RTX 4080 in raw performance 🤣
The only way to optimize this game is for the devs to do it themselves. This game runs like ASS
hate that modern cod runs like butt
