- Plankton and Patrick sing Death of A Bachelor from Panic At The Disco! We know Patrick has voice gold from such hits its as "Patrick Sings Fly Me To The Moon on a Seahorse". But plankton has got pipes as well!
While this does use AI to create Plankton and Patrick's inflections, there was a major amount of audio editing needed to allow these vocals to sound like two different characters signing. While I don't like to spam the same meme over and over. These AI covers have allowed the practice of sound production! Super interesting! This AI cover is my current favorite!
Fun Fact #1: When both Plankton and Patrick sing together, Patrick's initial vocal attack (or initial phrasing) is altered with a ~8ms delay every time to allow for a more natural sound of two people performing! Even professional singers come in slightly late or early! Also, during each sustained note, volume (gain) is keyframed to increase. This is intended to sound as if the character is reaching a natural crescendo.
Fun Fact #2: To allow each character to sings together, I used Autotune to shift Patrick's voice into the key of G. Plankton is constantly singing in the key of C. During the chorus, I chose multiple takes of Brendon Urie singing. That way, when the vocal tracks are layered together, each waveform is slightly different. Having two duplicated sound waves can sound very robotic (ie too perfect - or - it ends up causing phase issues). By having multiple takes, the waveforms are different enough so they do not clash and sounds like two people!

Good question! TL;DR - It's a mix of careful choices of reference audio for AI and manual keyframes for volume.
It's a mix of AI and audio editing! Lots of AI covers are using a framework called RVC. With plankton and Patrick models, they seem to only achieve a scream at a specific pitch. So I modified the 'scream' sections by pitching the pre-trained audio up or down a few semitones.
To make it feel more like a scream, I then took the AI voice output into Adobe Audition and key framed the volume to increase as the scream progressed!
