I've only been once in Japan but I will come back several times. In fact I try to go again this year.
I am also playing with the idea to buy a small house or appartement for me when I am visiting and for my later stages in life.
Despite knowing almost nothing about the language the country still felt like "home". I can't describe it but the society, manners and values remind me of my country (Austria) when I grew up.
I’m glad you really enjoy Japan and are even considering buying a house. Fun fact - I live in a Japanese village where lots of foreigners come and buy houses and live here.

Moving to Japan seems like quita a far-fetched idea, but I'll settle for frequent yearly trips for now.
Japan is like a magical-fantasy place to forget my problems of daily life, even if it's for a little while. Makes me work harder when I think about the next trip coming up.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Of course, moving to Japan is not for everyone, and I surely won't suggest it to everyone! I imagine it's super exciting for you to plan your Japan trips each time - I can't relate because I live here, but I wish I could experience the feeling!
