I was an usherette in a picture theatre when I was at university in the early 1970's and I saw 'Young Winston' more than thirty times. I though it was a great film then and I still think it was. Anne Bancroft as Jennie Jerome/Randolph's wife/Winston's mother was great and Simon Ward as Winston. Lots of action, great photography, etc

I'm a lifelong fan of Richards work, in particular, his incomparable ''Oh What a Lovely War''. A masterpiece of Historic Satire, but so entertaining too.

If you think 49-yr.-old Attenborough looks young here, you should see him play the lead character in the classic British gangster picture, Brighton Rock (1948)!

i have nothing against the other celebs that were on this show but is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason or Art Carney? How about any Honeymooners actors that were part of the main cast? These are rare much like the other Cavett ones.

If you haven't seen him in this movie, watch it, particularly for the scene he's slowly losing his mind and hope: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Flight_of_the_Phoenix_(1965_film)
