He said it was when Rachel McAdams’ character falls asleep and the main guy proposes to her. Yes. He did dedicate it to his grandmother. It's important to know his grandmother raised him. His parents were gone during the week with their farming job. He only saw them on weekends. He was bonded to her. A sad, sad night was even V shared with Army his grandmother died. Everyone was crying. V was boohooing. In all his conversations about her he said there was one thing about him his grandmother tried to change...but never could. She tried to get him to eat more so he wouldn't be skinny. He often comments...my grandmother would be so proud I ate all of it. But alas..no matter how much V eats...he is still skinny.

Tae is my favorite vocalist and performer. He doesn't just sing or dance to a song but puts his full emotions into it and that always makes me feel the song deeper. I really love his artistic style, here you could hear the camera shutter sounds like a person capturing memories. And then when everything started going backwards it immediately brought to mind when I have a desire to relive a moment from the past, esp if the person involved is no longer here. It's theorized that this song is about his beloved grandmother who passed while Tae was on tour with BTS and if true that gives even more emotional potency to the lyrics and video. Snow Flower, Christmas Tree, Blue & Grey (was to be on Tae's solo album but was put on BTS album instead) are other jazzy/soulful type songs that I really love. tbh, any song that showcases Tae's velvety vocals be it a BTS group song, his BTS solo song, or his non-BTS solo song are sure to bring out emotions and also thought provoking. My life changed the first week of 2017 when I started watching Hwarang and almost at the end of the first chapter the OST of V and Jin came on. I fell in love with her voice; I looked up who sang, so I knew that he was the one who played Han-sung and that he was part of BTS. I started listening to them and it really in many ways changed my life. My favorite singer in the world is Kim Taeh-yung.

I love this "simple" song from V. The Melody is gorgeous and his voice is so comforting and soothing. But yeah maybe too short, i listen to it at least 3 in a row to be satisfied 🥰 Scenery, sweet night, Christmas free, inner child and his Adel's cover are my ult comforting songs. Ty💜
The thing about V that comes through in his music is his innocence. The other members said he is truely the most genuinely innocent and down to earth member than all the other members. They are all from the city but he came from the country side. He's so sweet.
I recommend also listening to Snow Flower by V & Peakboy (one of his close friends) as well as Sweet Night from Itaewon Class OST & Blue & Grey which Tae wrote (it was supposed to be on his mixtape but he collabed with a few of the other members to put it on the album BE)

I would suggest another sad but beautiful acoustic song by V, but performed by BTS; that is Blue and Grey. It would be best to react to the lyric video and then the MTV Unplugged performance (no Eng subs, but it’s in English).
I know that I have said that Singularity is my favourite song, but to be completely honest all of Tae’s song are my favourite because you can feel the exact emotion that he puts into all of his songs. The warmth and love and passion he has for his music. To think that it was his first creation in English! And that the final result was "Winter Bear" seems surprising to me!!! I was more impressed to know that the music video is made by V. And that the shots and photography were taken in his free time on the world tour in Europe! It was his directorial debut. Not only the song is his creation but also the entire video. As an ARMY we get free treats from our boys. Free songs live chats, online gaming time with them, free counseling, free concert, etc. We are the most so spoiled fan base I think.
I would suggest another sad but beautiful acoustic song by V, but performed by BTS; that is Blue and Grey. It would be best to react to the lyric video and then the MTV Unplugged performance (no Eng subs, but it’s in English).

To think that it was his first creation in English! And that the final result was "Winter Bear" seems surprising to me!!! I was more impressed to know that the music video is made by V. And that the shots and photography were taken in his free time on the world tour in Europe! It was his directorial debut. Not only the song is his creation but also the entire video.

His music shows his personality 🐻 acc to many fans this song was about his grandma (she raised him for almost 12 years, he was the closest to her because his parents sent him to his grandma at an early age because they were so busy in farming his grandma wanted to see him on tv but unfortunately timing didn't worked out ☹️ he told armys about this after months bcs armys were asking him why is he so sad and silent nowadays bcs he used to be a very playful and bubbly kid but bcs of many things happened to him in just 2-3 years he changed he's still adorable but not like the way he used be) (and the worst thing was some toxic people made fun of him and his grandma and his behaviour that he's rude and this that and i believe this was the main reason for him to became quite in from of camera )
