Nice! Do you know if pelikan m200 can be disassembled like the m800/m1000?

Partialy. I show M250 (same as M200) in the video - removing clip is easy, nib - easy as usual, but piston assembly is not screwed in. But fir lacquering it can stay in place, just you need to mask area between barrel and knob, while unscrewed.

@@TamenuriStudio Thanks! i'm planning on lacquering one for myself

the sealant in montblanc 14x series nib is seriously annoying. i don't know why they would not just use o rings... their warranty with disassembly is also terrible, but oh well.

Symplesy at some moment you dont care about warranty ;) this 149 is from 70ties - much better nibs, same annoying sealant.

@@TamenuriStudio oh yeah, for sure. ive never tried a 149 but the OBB nib on my 146 (80s with smokey ink window) is my favourite nib ive tried so far :) i dont see myself buying any montblancs from them directly anytime soon, just not worth it to me in my mind. Not when pelikan is avail for cheaper and nicer materials hahah.

@@symplesy2056 YES ! older MB nibs, (50, 60 , 70, but some in 80ties too) were much nicer. I have OBB on 146 too ;) But right now the "caligraphy" nib is worth checking out on MB 149. And as prices are concerned - MSRP prices of MB are just plain stupid ;)

@@TamenuriStudio Thats their soft nib right? The videos on it look craazy... I end up using my cheaper pens most of the time. I'm afraid of using some of the crazier inks in montblancs since they can can be pretty hard to clean.

@@symplesy2056 yes, flexible "calligraphy" nib. It is cool, I ordered one ;) Montblanc inks are rather well-behaving - did not notice unusual staining. Some are micro pigmented as far as I know so be mindful. I have 3 of them - classics: Toffie Brown, Lavender Purple and Irish Green. My son has Red Fox (Little Prince limited edition) and Modena Red (successor do Corn Popy Red AFAIK)
