Yay so happy the powder/concealer matches you! :) Hope you can get the Posie tint to work, as it's a liquid product it doesn't sit too well on dry skin sadly but if you can't get it to work for your cheeks it's also a super pretty lip stain! Thanks so much for swapping with me
I just love you so much I've always been nervous to wear bold makeup casually, but you have made me so much more confident to just wear it bc I like it and it's fun for me. So thank you for everything over the years
Whaaat? This look is perfect on you and so wearable! Love the brows, the lighting, your sense of humor and all your videos! 22 minutes seem too short, Alison
+AlisonLovesJB those darker spots on your cheeks will be where the product has dried. I have the lollitint from benefit and I had the same problem until I started putting some on the back of my hand and used a brush as you have to work extremely quick with it ❤️❤️
Hands down my favorite beauty person on yt! I've been watching you since forever. You're so down to earth and you put so much effort into your videos. Loved the look and you as well! xx
for the posie tint it's not a matter of dry patches. the product dries super quickly so by the time you dot on 10 little dots and close the cap, screw it on, the dots have semi dried already so the pink little polka dots are probably just lack of blending for the product :-)
I don't think this is the case, close up I could definitely tell they were darkest where I had dry spots, not necessarily where I originally dotted them on. :)
i think the pink polka dots are from the application method. maybe try putting it on you finger and apply that way. my personal favorite is to apply it directly to my elf small stipple brush and then stippling it on my cheeks. thats the only way i don't get those annoying pink dots
the pink dotts actually come from applying the tint directly on your skin with the brush, since the color was a lot more concentrated on those spots and satined a lot quicker
don't give up on the stain! it makes a great lip stain and looks very nice there (: also, if you brush it on to a stippling brush and then apply it like that, it tends to not move your foundation or do the thing it did ^.^
a good way to use liquid blushes or cheek stains is to use a small stippling brush (elf has a great one) & paint it to the brush directly, tap out the excess somewhere & then stipple lightly to the cheeks. those things dry down so quickly, it's hard to make them look even but i find that's the best way to do it! hope it helps! great video as always
I think the lip color surprisingly looks really good with that eye look. that's something I'd never think looked good together but wow, you proved me wrong!
I have the same problem with positint from benifit. You can't directly apply it to your face because it stains before you have time to blend. I hate that about the product, what I do it put some on my fingers them I blend it our that way! I love you so much Alison! ❤️💕😘💄💞
I've watched so many videos from huge RUclips "makeup gurus" , and I keep coming back to your videos, they're so much better. I can't understand why your at one million, but you will be soon I'm sure!
I don't put on makeup, but I've watched a lot of beauty gurus, your the best by far !! You eyeshadow blends perfectly, and your powder is perfectly and evenly spreaded. ;)
So gorgeous Allison omg! I'm so so happy you are doing tutorials again I miss u! I live in the states but got this palette because they ship to US now and it's gorge!! I'm totally recreating it xoxo
Allison really enjoyed this tutorial....u look amazing with and without makeup....your lighting is good ...I love it cause its not super super white ...I like how it looks natural and not over done with the lighting. I absolutely love your makeup and outfit....good job girl!!!!!!!! Your golddigger joke was cute!! Hahaha
I feel the same way about the cheek stain but I find that using a stippling brush helps a ton!! Also, I recently fell in love with the Josie maran coconut water cheek stains and they are very hydrating and melt in with skin even when dry!!
I noticed that the applicator for the cheek stain is what makes those spots on my face. I don't think they're dry patches. The stain starts setting as soon as you put it on so once you blend everything out, you're left with those spots! Definitely try putting the cheek stain on a beauty blender instead of directly on your face :) your skin is lovely I hope this helps!
you are so beautiful i want to cry!! i love this makeup look. and the lighting is perfect, usually when i watch youtube videos i have to connect my computer to my tv or else the light is so bright but your videos are perfect :)
The pink dots are where you first applied the tint. Tints are more absorbing? than being on you face, so you should blend it out before it gets stained.
A lot of people get the pawpaw ointment confused for a lip balm, because its got petroleum it doesn't actually penetrate the lips and moisturise them, it more acts as a barrier from the wind, cold etc. Love your vids xx
you might want to try putting the cheek tint on your fingers and then applying one cheek at a time; i have the original benetint (red liquid, rose scented) and i've noticed that if i dab it on my cheeks and then wait a tiny bit too long, the places that I've dabbed stain darker than the rest of my cheek.
with the cheek stain, the color shows up more in the first places you place the product because the color has more time to develop in those areas. in the places you blend the stain out to, the color will be more sheer. i doubt you have dry spots :)
the reason the stain got polka dotty is because it is a stain and it starts staining your skin as soon as you pop it on there, it happened to me the first time i used it try just putting a little baby tiny bit on your finger and then rubbing it in and adding from there!! no hate just I love that stain and dont want you to miss out how pretty the color is and how natural of a flush it gives :D :D love you! love your channel!
With the cheek stain the dark spots are where you applied it to your face. The best way to use it is dab it on your fingers and then blend in. I love the Benefit stains!
You look absolutely amazing!!! Both lip colors are gorgeous! You did some fabulous brush artistry on your eyes, and the colors are very complimentary!! You are soooooo talented :)
You can use the cheek stain as a lip stain! It works really well for lips so you don't have to use it for cheeks since you don't really like how it looks on the cheeks! :) love the tutorial!!! You're so awesome so keep doin' you girl!
Hi Alison! You looked amazing with that bright colour on your lips! Anyway I was thinking... have you ever thought about changing your hair colour and making it a little darker? like dark blonde or hazelnut? You would look awesome! AlisonLovesJB
you have to blend the tint as soon as you put it on your face or dab it with your finger or a sponge because it will make patches. It's not because you have dry patches of skin it's because of the dots you did with the tint ;) great vid girl! (sorry i'm not really good in english)
The same thing happened to me with the cheek stain. I don't think their actually dry spots, I think it's the direct spots from dabbing the brush onto your cheek. It works better for me when I put the product on my fingers first and then apply it to my cheeks that way.
So cool seeing one of my favorite beauty guru's using NZ/Aussie make up. I'm from NZ so unfortunately I can't get a hold of most the products you use, so great to see a look that I can do! Also the Lucas Pawpaw ointment, it's pronounced exactly how it looks Paw-Paw, like the paw of a kitty!
I think your hilarious!! I love your sarcastic humor I'm the same way it's fun to watch you!!! My friends used to laugh at me because I can't be fake even when I'm being nice to someone I don't like it's obvious lol your the same honest and genuine!! Xoxo
Hi Alison! I am also from NZ and use the collection concealer! I find that it dries to a powder finish really fast so maybe the cheek stain was sticking to that! The same thing happens to me when I use cream blusher with my collection concealer!
AlisonLovesJB your lighting is fabulous girlie , Im not a fan of cheeks stain products, I think i have to try out those brushes ;) this was a great look for fall .. you and i am so jealous of your eye brows lol
when you use the tints on your cheeks I'd recommend putting it on your fingers first and then kind of dabbing it into your cheeks because it you brush it on it'll start to stain your cheeks before you blend it and you'll get brush strokes stained onto your face
You are so gorgeous! I absolutely love watching your videos! 😍😘😍 Such a great humble personality and gteat style! 👍 I also loved the brighter lip with the eyes, it played well on your skin and the outfit!
Love this look!! The nude lips definitely loo6krd better. And ughh, your makeup is always so gorgeous. Your eye look still looked great without eyeliner :)
Just be you, because your funny comes through and adds to your coolness. Great look. The lips were very bright, but I liked both. I can't wait to see what other looks you come up with.
If you repurchase the CG outlast try 825 buff beige. I have fair, yellow toned skin as well and it's a good match for me. Re: the lighting. A bit dark but the color is true.
i'm pretty sure the pink polka dots came from the application not bc you have dry patches, with tints you have to blend fast or you'll be left with dots on your cheeks. maybe if you apply it on your fingers instead or directly on your brush?
I found that if I painted the tint right on my face like you did, the places the brush first hit would stain way to dark (like polka dots!) so I started painting it right on my fingers and found it applied way more evenly.
I believe you can use the cheek tint as a subtle lip stain. Just a pop of punk color for an easy makeup day??? I always struggled with stains. I received a Josie Moran gel cheek/lip stain. I can't master it on my cheeks, but it's a little pop of red on my lips. Loved the look, you are very talented!
Guuuurl those eyes!! Love this look loads
STUNNING! I don't think there has ever been a time where your makeup hasn't looked anything but perfect!
aw thank you!
Yay so happy the powder/concealer matches you! :) Hope you can get the Posie tint to work, as it's a liquid product it doesn't sit too well on dry skin sadly but if you can't get it to work for your cheeks it's also a super pretty lip stain! Thanks so much for swapping with me
I love how you don't even have to plan out your makeup looks you can just wing it and it always looks so perfect!
LOVE the lighting! Not washed out at all!
Yay good to hear!! xo
I really like how insanely chill you are haha
That's a relief haha hoping I don't cross the fine line over to insanely boring :')
AlisonLovesJB Smell the Paw Paw ointment! Smells so so good!
I just love you so much
I've always been nervous to wear bold makeup casually, but you have made me so much more confident to just wear it bc I like it and it's fun for me. So thank you for everything over the years
Whaaat? This look is perfect on you and so wearable! Love the brows, the lighting, your sense of humor and all your videos! 22 minutes seem too short, Alison
Aw so many kind words!! My heart is overflown! Thank you so much :)
Loved the look and you as well! xx
I am seriously obsessed with you. This is only the second video I have ever watched of yours & you are hilarious. You are entertaining & adorable!!
for the posie tint it's not a matter of dry patches. the product dries super quickly so by the time you dot on 10 little dots and close the cap, screw it on, the dots have semi dried already so the pink little polka dots are probably just lack of blending for the product :-)
I don't think this is the case, close up I could definitely tell they were darkest where I had dry spots, not necessarily where I originally dotted them on. :)
Can't believe how popular your channel has gotten! I remember before you even had 100k. Love you!!
Your bare skin looks absolutely amazing! Whatever you're using to wash your face is definitely working because it looks so clear and glowy ugh jealous
SO jealous of your eyeshadow game. It's always so on point.
i think the pink polka dots are from the application method. maybe try putting it on you finger and apply that way. my personal favorite is to apply it directly to my elf small stipple brush and then stippling it on my cheeks. thats the only way i don't get those annoying pink dots
I apply that way as well. It's the best way I've found.
also your not meant to put that on, mine benetint says only put 3 lines on your cheeks and blend in, i also use a small stipple brush to blend in
the pink dotts actually come from applying the tint directly on your skin with the brush, since the color was a lot more concentrated on those spots and satined a lot quicker

i like how youre really open about being sent the products instead of subtly throwing it in the description ^_^
Is it just me or is her lisp the most adorable thing!!!!
I noticed that the applicator for the cheek stain is what makes those spots on my face. I don't think they're dry patches. Yaaay! Exciting to see someone other than a New Zealand RUclipsr use the ChiChi pallets! I loveeee them! Super keen to try out the look you created :)
I really liked the lip color with the eyes! Very pretty! Also, that fan brush looks so luxurious!
Such a pretty look for Fall! I really enjoy these GRWM's when you just talk. Thanks for the lovely video! (:
I LOVE the eye look! Great for fall!
Those necklaces Sally gave you = STUNNING. I love them. Great look!
Your lighting was actually perfect in this vid!
I actually really like and prefer the first bright lip with this look. So pretty!
Love the look!! But anything you do always turns out gorgeous!!!! : ) Also I'm loving the longer videos!!!!
Alison this reminds me of your old talking videos, I love it! The bronze look turned out great. Great video!!
You are so gorgeous and seem so down to earth! I'm loving all of your tutorials. Please keep doing you because I'm loving every bit of it xoxo
it turn out really beautiful . the colors are so gorgeous .. even the lashes!!
i personally love almost all ur makeup tutorial !!
u r so pretty !!
The pink dots are where you first applied the tint.
Tints are more absorbing? than being on you face, so you should blend it out before it gets stained.
I love how you didn't go to heavy on the bronzer and ps I love you fall look on you! It's so gorgeous! 😍💕

I love how often your posting videos again!!❤️

You are actually so funny! I love how u were just sat basically talking to yourself 😹xx
hahaha story of my life.
i think you're really funny in a genuine/natural way!!
You look absolutely amazing!!! Both lip colors are gorgeous! You did some fabulous brush artistry on your eyes, and the colors are very complimentary!! You are soooooo talented :)
You are such an inspiration Alison! I love your attitude and personality! 😘😘😘 keep the awesome videos coming.
You can use that cheek tint for your lips to tint also :)
my god you're really really pretty! ive been watching your videos for such a while and you're sooo talented. aghhh i wish i could look like you!!
The eyes in this look are absolutely stunning.
You can use the cheek stain as a lip stain! It works really well for lips so you don't have to use it for cheeks since you don't really like how it looks on the cheeks! :) love the tutorial!!! You're so awesome so keep doin' you girl!
I really loved the bright coral lip and you looked really pretty with it on, but that's just me and I like bold. ;)
Loved this vid so much! The look was gorgeous. And the music at the end was pretty too! :) So glad I saw this!
Long pause and then, "Do you ever wish you were more funny?" Hahaha I love you, I don't know why but that cracked me up 😂 thanks for the fun video! :)
loooove how all your looks always turn out! so much talent :)
your videos make me so so incredibly happy Alison- thank you!
Wow those rusty bronze shades are sooo beautiful on your face! You're so pretty:)
You always make me laugh in your vids! "That was for my haters"
This is such a beautiful look!!
Hi Alison! You looked amazing with that bright colour on your lips! Anyway I was thinking... have you ever thought about changing your hair colour and making it a little darker? like dark blonde or hazelnut? You would look awesome! AlisonLovesJB
Obbbbbbsessed with this look. Definitely going to try it out, gorgeous as always Alison!
you have to blend the tint as soon as you put it on your face or dab it with your finger or a sponge because it will make patches. It's not because you have dry patches of skin it's because of the dots you did with the tint ;) great vid girl! (sorry i'm not really good in english)

Your skin looks so good!
Even though the poise tint didn't work on your cheeks it's a super pretty lip stain when you wanna go for something kind of subtly pink!!
I think your hilarious!! I love your sarcastic humor I'm the same way it's fun to watch you!!! My friends used to laugh at me because I can't be fake even when I'm being nice to someone I don't like it's obvious lol your the same honest and genuine!! Xoxo
can you do a look using the other eye shadow palette you got from Sally?
She said she will be doing more tutorials with the palettes she got from Sally. :)
Kaitlyn Blount I see your comments on a lot of the videos I watch...so I wanted to say hi! Haha ;)
Kaisey Foltz lol hi! :)
Hi Alison!
I am also from NZ and use the collection concealer!
I find that it dries to a powder finish really fast so maybe the cheek stain was sticking to that!
The same thing happens to me when I use cream blusher with my collection concealer!
The concealer looks amazing on you! So natural and pretty! LOVE IT *_*
AlisonLovesJB your lighting is fabulous girlie , Im not a fan of cheeks stain products, I think i have to try out those brushes ;) this was a great look for fall .. you and i am so jealous of your eye brows lol
I LOVE the eye look with the nude lip, so gorgeous!
You look amazing! Omg the eye look! so stunning ♥ and I love the necklaces hahhaha
When you returned all dressed up, you looked soooo beautiful !!! Great look🎀
The lighting is perfect pls don't change it!

oh my gosh that eyeshadow palette and the lashes are amazing!
You are so gorgeous! I absolutely love watching your videos! 😍😘😍
Such a great humble personality and gteat style! 👍 I also loved the brighter lip with the eyes, it played well on your skin and the outfit!
You blended that blush perfectly 👌with your contour because I agree it was a little intense at first.
your whole makeup looks absolutely flawless !! Love it hun, have subscribed to your channel xx
Prettiest eye look you've ever done!!! You look so gorgeous!! :)
Love this look!! The nude lips definitely loo6krd better. And ughh, your makeup is always so gorgeous. Your eye look still looked great without eyeliner :)
Omg I love this video! The look you created is PERFECT for fall! I definitely will be trying this out :)
Your channel is amazing! You're personality is just perfect!!

Re: the lighting. A bit dark but the color is true.
Omg you're skin looks AMAZING! Could you pretty please do an updated skin care routine? Love your videos xox
FALL LOOKBOOK PLEASE?! Your lookbooks are my fave!
i'm pretty sure the pink polka dots came from the application not bc you have dry patches, with tints you have to blend fast or you'll be left with dots on your cheeks. maybe if you apply it on your fingers instead or directly on your brush?
I seriously ADORE your boho style so much!! 👌😘
I found that if I painted the tint right on my face like you did, the places the brush first hit would stain way to dark (like polka dots!) so I started painting it right on my fingers and found it applied way more evenly.
You are soo adorable. The eyes were gorgeous and I think your hilarious! Most people "try" to be funny - your yourself - dig it ! xx
