Wow. So nice. Seeing this video i fondly recall my grandmother whom we used to visit every summer vacation.
A small village by name Kandiramanickkam about 17 Kms from Kumbakonam en route to Nannilam.
All mentioned in the video was practised by my grandmother.
The last of the siblings (5) myself was born in a house in kodavasal. I used to go along with the cows/baffalo to nearby river for bathing.
The memories of traveling in the Bullock cart still remains afresh in my memories.
Thanks for sharing the video which made me go back to those golden carefree days where we all brothers/sisters and cousins used to meet every summer. 👍

Very nice conversation. Women of yesteryears lived their life entirely for the welfare of their families. They developed skill sets for the task. I see several similarities between our mothers. Their sacrifice is what made the next generations take root and grow. They are the unsung heroes of every family.
