The scammer telling the officers they are going to be in trouble is the icing on the cake.
The scammers who sent her and the threats in the first place all need to be held accountable

@denisern55
Your passive-aggressive condensending tone is unnecessary, much like your need to spell check someone's comment... the whole murder was recorded. He targeted an unarmed innocent woman and shot her until she took her last breath over his fear of a brown woman at his house without ever trying to get an understanding. He had a choice to call the police and go back inside of his house until they arrived. He chose murder instead. Now her family who is still mourning the loss of their mother sister daughter aunt and friend had to spend Mother's Day without her, I can't imagine how hard that may have been, but you have the audacity to victim blame and make an excuse for the killer...he was a paranoid racist with a gun and that's a horrible combination.....we got enough of those city paid workers walking around wearing badges and ego tripping...
81 years old, he won't live much longer.
Our society should treat our elders much better.
They're also a big part of our homeless.
@toowiseforyou
But he's still got another day at living his life regardless of his age. The poor woman he shot in cold blood doesn't have that privilege anymore...
Wth you mean society should treat our elders better?? and what should he get? A few nights stay at a 5-star hotel, a dip in the jacuzzi, and a nice meal?
No, he should get what the rest of us would get had we made the same irrational and targeted decision...Let's just stop with the play on words and the mind games! I don't sugar coat the truth... Had that been an elderly caucasian woman knocking on his door, they would've had a nice conversation laughed it off, talked about the grandkids, and she would still be alive to go home to her family that day!!!
You ain't as wise as you think...Only fools have this kinda crazy talk

False. Someone shows up to your house to extort 12k from you and can defend yourself. Its not his fault he didnt know she wasnt part of the scam. The scammer should get the 1st degree charges. The old guy is pretty innocent. Its not like he just shooting her for no reason. She was there trying to pick up a package, which was 12k being extorted from the guy. Probably never committed a crime in his whole life. He was defending himself and property. She was probably being persistent about taking the package with the money. Tough situation.
