could you explain why lower minority carriar lifetime will be higher reverse bias current?

the generation current in minute @22:32 is the double of your result. I think you're missing something.

i can understand that, a generation of electron hole pair can cause a current but how does a recombination result in a current flow ???

Bro I am not sure about this but in the beginning of the lecture he tells that If U is positive we have a net recombination and when negative we have a net generation and in forward bias we have U positive so net recombination is present therefore the current flow get changed due to the recombination happening inside the depletion region and that decreases the total current. As we can see that finally for obtaining total current considering the recombination mechanism also we are subtracting a value from the ideal diode current and that value which we are subtracting can be treated as a current and is called recombination current.
In short there is no new carrier flow which is treated as recombination current but the distruction of carriers in the trap in the depletion region reduces the current flow and that reduction is treated as a current which flows opposite to ideal diode current and known as recombination current.

The flow of current depends on the carrier movement . In recombination the movement of holes and electrons leads to give the current flow.

you teach good but your teaching style is not structured . it would have been good if you had mentioned about every topic before starting it , you just mix up all the things
