- Maggie wants to move in her with boyfriend. Fran and Maxwell find a way to stop her.
From Season 6 Episode 5, ‘Maggie’s Boyfriend’. Maggie introduces her new boyfriend Michael to her father and Fran, she is nervous about her father’s reaction and of Brighton embarrassing her. Fran is impressed by Michael but Maxwell isn’t, and he doesn’t react well when Maggie announces she is planning on moving in with Michael.

Fran and Max really were the perfect couple, they had fantastic chemistry between them.
Maggie got lucky, but I think she and Michael "rushed" their relationship - especially since they got caught in Fran's old bedroom together!
Poor Niles. I hope him and C.C. got a nice place in Los Angeles, even if it is adjacent to the Sheiffields.
I feel Niles' pain
I looove comedy using the 'jewish guilt' plot, always good for laughter without mockery. Everybody Loves Raymond exploits that too via Mary Barone. At 0:35 sec, it looks like Fran is in the picture with Michael (picture on the left).

Yes, it was gorgeous, and it's possible Michael only had pictures of himself on his walls, because he had no other place to put them! I was shocked at first, but since he's a model, it's perfectly understandable!

He's a model, and it's possible he did that, because he didn't have any other places to put them in! I'm sure he'd have different pictures with other things in them if he wasn't a model!

This wasn't funny.. She was old enough to get married and definitely old enough to live with her boyfriend. So very wrong doing this to an adult.
Yes it was. It was too soon. When they got to know each other better and decided to marry, it was with her parents' blessing.
Of less than 6 months? Age is just a number, and you being legally old enough to do something doesn’t automatically mean you’re responsible enough to do it. Their method was underhanded but the protectiveness was entirely valid
Maggie was old enough to get married, but she and Michael just met, and they haven't known each other long enough! I think knowing someone 6 months to a year would be sufficient!
