Yes, it was really messy. Tbh, I wouldn't have chosed the one she finally picked, because it's still too messy (even if far less than the first one) for me but... not my wedding. She likes it, and only that matters. 😊😊
i’m actually confused on why BOTH parents are getting heat when the dad was pretty chill && we ALL agreed with his view on the first dress .. the mom is the one who admitted to disagreeing with the dad just to be spiteful even tho she actually agreed with him .. that told me all i needed to know about who the problem really is🥴
Mom’s wrong front the get go on the first dress. Dad said something that I never thought of but makes perfect sense. He said I want people to see YOU first then the dress. Wow dad, that was really well thought out. Then here comes her spiteful mom saying I hate the dress only because her dad said he liked it. She should be ashamed of herself. It’s about her daughter. Get out of your feelings mom and support your daughter which should be a memorable day for her. That’s why she invited you.
I know everyone's situation is different and divorced parents don't always or usually see eye to eye. But one thing they should always see eye to eye on is how much they love their mutual child and that the wedding and any planning should be about their child and not about the parents problems with each other. The way the mom says things just to spite dad is a bit frustrating. Just my opinion.....
Judea's parents' body language says the opposite then they words: they sit right next to each other, they turn their bodies towards each other, the father almost touches her some moments... If I hated someone I would sit the opposite site of the sofa. 🤔
They say it takes a lot of love to hate someone. The absence of emotion and indifference is a sign two people have moved on. At least one clearly hasn’t 👀
Mom and Dad were being petty. Glad at the end of the appointment, that she got the one that she wanted!!! And the look of the dad's face, for the second one, was priceless!!! ❤
I think this was WAY over-edited to make it look more dramatic than it was! I think there was a little playful banter, but nothing that serious. Regardless, she looks beautiful ❤
Pretty idealistic statement from a very young girl. I’m coming up on 33 years married and I guarantee you, making love last a lifetime is the hardest work of your life. That’s why the divorce rate is so high.
Dads and fiancés don’t belong there! I’m divorced and we know there will be plenty of lifetime events to celebrate with our daughter together. We get along fine, but this is not one dad needs to be involved in.
My dad would be THE ONE person I would gladly take dress shopping. He was always very honest but never condescending or hurtful. Also, he was a feminist like me, and we usually agreed on things.
@ That’s great, but I feel like dads and fiancés shouldn’t see the bride in her dress prior. My daughter’s dad would go if she asked, and I have no fashion sense. We think an engagement is happening soon and we don’t care what she wears. Her day not ours. She’s very sensible and knows it’s ONE day, she won’t go insane with an outrageously priced dress. She likes to fly under the radar anyway. Gets embarrassed easily.
I'd bring my dad rather than my mom. My dad is: "you're an adult, you can make yourbown choices", while my mom is constantly pushing me to act and think how she wants. And I would deginitely ask my fiancee to come, because I want a gery supportive one who will be honest but nice.
Parent’s & friend’s sometimes forget that the day is about the bride not them. The only opinion that truly matters is that of the bride. These bickering parent’s came ready to make the day about them not their daughter. Grow up already, there’s nothing more to fight about, it’s done!
Daughter daughters daughter's wedding 💒💍 married wedding weddings 🎉🎉🎉 forever never been remember mind baca feel feeling their own lives at ❤😂🎉😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I’ve never understood why the women in these episodes bring family members that are nothing but negative Nancies and bring down the vibe 100% (ie bringing parents that dislike each other to one of the most exciting experiences of your life)
Honestly I saw a post on a different bride and someone in the comments said that "Monte left Bridals by Lori, Lori is not the owner anymore and that the store was bought by someone else, and that robin had moved on from the store." But seeing these most recent episodes of the store AND being from Georgia. I can confirm that the person was entirely misinformed and completely wrong in their statement.
I agree with the dad on the first dress. I don't like the bottom of the dress. I like the second dress. This is not right that the parents are being like this. I do not like the 3rd dress. do like the 4th dress. She will look beautiful on her wedding day. The bride Holly, looks beautiful on her too.
Love ur shows but please need captions. Some of the accents I can’t understand I do wear hearing aids Thank you for these episodes. Some r funny, some are creepy. Most of your brides leave happy. Some of your brides are indecisive. All are beautiful and store owners and staff truly want the bride to be happy. No problem whether the budget is large or small. Staff treats Every customer the same. They work for the bride-to-be.
The father isn't wearing the dress & he old ! What he know about a wedding dress! Ohhh he plucks my nerves & he not even my dad! When i picked my dress my dad was happy ! About anything i picked because he love seeing me happy !! Period!
Her parents both of them need to realize y'all been divorced for 10 years move on with your life what happened in the past is dead is gone move on this is his girl wedding this is her day have respect for her don't be bitter because you don't get along get along because of your daughter what happened in the past is dead God has let it Go and went on by his business y'all been divorced for 10 years move on I don't care who did what you move on with your life stop being all this bitter and bring it to this girl cuz you're not going to be a help to her then you need one y'all need to be there at all
They are horrible ALL OF THEM!!! This is gross 🤮 I would go to Gatlinburg and get married.. what a bunch assholes.. it’s about her not the parent’s UGH!!
@@grenade8572I agree and I went through that. It has nothing to do with maturity but trying to protect yourself from abuse and fighting back to bullies.
These parents made it about them. It is sad to me that they don’t have the ability to see that.
Sad both parents couldn't agree until Monte told her to stand firm
Judea, you should have come with your friends...period. Your mom and dad are just reliving their divorce at your expense.😢
Dad was bang on with the first dress, it looked like a sunken soufflé
It looked like the dress had a tumour
Yes, it was really messy. Tbh, I wouldn't have chosed the one she finally picked, because it's still too messy (even if far less than the first one) for me but... not my wedding. She likes it, and only that matters. 😊😊

Exactly the mom is the problem the dad seems super sweet
You go, girl! At the end of the day, IT'S YOUR DAY! Mom and dad had their chance...now it's your moment to shine!
I would never lie to someone about their appearance to spite somebody else!! That's so idiotic. Especially someone I love.
The dad’s comments about the dresses were spot on! The bride made the perfect choice! She looks beautiful in that dress!
Go over like a TOOTSIE ROLL in a PUNCH BOWL😂😂😂😂😂
Lori

OMG ! The girl is gorgeous ! Pretty sorry she tried to share her day with rude people.
The mom lies just to cause problems with the father. Pathetic behavior.
You can see why they're divorced .🙄
Scripted, I bet
Thank you Monty for giving the first bride in the video the courage to stand up to her parents.
HER SMILE❤ LIT THE ROOM… because it WAS WHAT SHE WANTED💯
The dress Monte picked fit her personality.
that first dress was horrible. i'm glad she chose what she chose. it suited her the best.

Well...PLENTY of us share your opinion so, you're not alone. 😉
I agree and she should have left both or at least one of them at home.
Judea's parents' body language says the opposite then they words: they sit right next to each other, they turn their bodies towards each other, the father almost touches her some moments... If I hated someone I would sit the opposite site of the sofa. 🤔
I noticed that exact same thing. The mom is leaning so far towards the dad she is almost vertical.
Maybe they do not hate each other but just don’t get along.
They say it takes a lot of love to hate someone. The absence of emotion and indifference is a sign two people have moved on. At least one clearly hasn’t 👀
I clocked the body language too...whatever caused the divorce didn't stop the loved just blocked it
Practice run for the wedding. Good idea to test the parents.
3:40 the mom 😂🤦🏻♀️
Those parents are ridiculous. Why would you bring them? smh
Parents. Dummy.
I can't imagine this being my entire life. Contentious parents trying to out petty each other. Poor woman,
Mom literally lying just to spite the dad
And then he did the same!! He looked like he liked the second one until the mom liked it
Mom and Dad were being petty. Glad at the end of the appointment, that she got the one that she wanted!!!
And the look of the dad's face, for the second one, was priceless!!! ❤
Mom was being petty. Dad was honest and chill.

Beautiful Holly

The dad was right on the first dress and mum reaction was nasty
That first dress looks gorgeous on her. M & D need to get over themselves!
Well, the good thing about those parents bickering was the choosing of dress #4 (far better choice) instead of #1. 👏
wow! I couldn't imagine having supportive parents that loved me. Good for both of them!

Why can’t dads and fiances be there? I would not mind my man and brothers being there. If my dad was still here, I would not mind him being there.
I hate that cage hat that they plop on so many brides’ heads!
Me too! It looks hideous!
I don’t understand why her dad needed to be there.
Why wouldn't he be? 🤔
For half the wallet.
Mom and Dad need to grow up.
I was so upset with the first bride's parents behaviour 😢😢 Couldn't they have been civil to each other just for one day, smh 😞😞
I agree I hate the first dress.

I’m all for brides to come alone to wedding dress shopping. Whoever is paying, it’s paying for YOUR dress, not their vision.

I don't believe this is a recent episode though. Their style and clothing screams early 2000s-2010s
So if Lori and him brother and sister or just friends because he works there as a employee
@melissajones1564 they're just friends and coworkers.
All those skirts were hideous
The first dress was not it
MOM IS THE DRAMA.
That first dress looked like an accident.
I wonder at times if it’s manufactured drama but mom is clearly the problem

After 10 years! Grow up!!
Daddy should of stayed home ??
Why??? The mom wasn't better.
They both should have stayed home.
Tootsie role in a punch bowl
The mom is full of herself
Should have left him at home
Why did she even invite both of them
This bride is beautiful!
I think these shows look for some drama...It's why people watch..
I didn’t like any of them. But she looks pretty.
Why is the dad there anyway? Thats a girls thing. I wouldn’t have brought my father.

Dresses #1 & 2 aren't quite right for her
Dress one only pretty on the top half.
If not mature enough to stand up to your family you are not mature enough to get married
I strongly disagree. Being unable to stand up for yourself is not necessary a lack of maturity, but can be a sign one was belittled or abused.
@@grenade8572I agree and I went through that. It has nothing to do with maturity but trying to protect yourself from abuse and fighting back to bullies.
