Love this engine! Definitely one of the most, if not the most efficient 4cyl diesel engine out there!

someone notice that this passat have 65-66liter tank and audi a4,Merc c,e class and bmw 3 bullshiting with 40 liters tank and stupid explanation are co2 emmisions ,but for 300+euro additional pay you get 60liter tank and co2 somehow miracly vanish then

Sehr gute Entscheidung, passat ist richtig gute bequeme auto und auch sehr gut für langstrecke geeignet. Obwohl ich kein vw fan bin trotzdem finde ich passat viel besser als golf, troc usw.

do you find this engine underpowered on the motorway, or is it fine? acceleration from 140-160 when you have to quickly pull out on the autobahn?

It's sad they removed the clock above the radio... It makes you feel like you're driving a more luxurious car rather than just a Golf or Polo. The rest of the interior had a nice update tho

Ist halt nen Mietwagen, Diesel rein, Sitze rein, fertig. Muss einfach laufen mit ein bisschen Comfortausstattung dazu
Warum lässt man bei einem so relativen teuren Auto noch die Sitzheizung weg? Die paar Euro hätten es nicht schlimmer gemacht.

Das stand bei meinem 2016 A4 TDI und 2014 A3 Limousine TDI auch drin... keine Ahnung, bis heute
Damn.. that new DSG7 for the 2.0TDI makes the engine run at such low rpm. I got the pre-facelift. In the 6th gear at 180, mine does about 2900 rpm. This one runs at 2600 rpm. Mine does 220 at 3500 rpm, this one does that at 3100 rpm. 😐
150 or 190hp?
@@unknownuser1312_ They both have the same gearbox with same gear ratio's. In my case its a 150hp, remapped to 200hp 450nm.
Hm, i like this car more than T4 volvo... i think i would buy this car..? For family with 1 baby. What are you thinking?
volvo generaly has a lot less payload than its rivals. volvo v90 would be competitor of passat, e class, a6 and 5 series. for a familiy with 1 baby, all cars i mentioned are good. maybe you can also look into asian cars such as mitsubishi outlander and eclipse cross.
they offer longer warranty, most of the time at least, and are cheaper
My dad owns passat b8 and it has really big boot, so if you looking for big estate you dont need to look for something else for this price, maybe a bit bigger is skoda superb another very good car

@@nightpovcars7021 well, passat has 60 liter ot 66 liter tank I think and on competitors you need to pay extra for bigger tank, my sister has newest e class wagon, its very big car but skoda superb is even bigger, so if you looking for comfy car and price for you doesnt matter e class is way to go, if its little to expensive I can just say vw passat variant my dad has it and its brilliant very comfy and noise insolation is very very good, Skoda superb is a bit bigger but its not refined as something bit premuim, if you have any question about e class or passat just write it down
