why is nobody talking about how good her dancing is in here? there was no awkward arm movements she was sharp and on point and wasn't stiff either. it's like everyone always picks out the wrongs and never give credit for what was actually good. i don't personally think this was the best performance with the mix of songs and everything but i thought she killed her solo dance.

I used to be over critical of this performance but now after knowing everything she’s been through in her life and career, I have a new appreciation and respect for it. She did what needed to be done. Her confidence was on 10 this night and that’s all that matters to me
I was there and honestly when I got home and got on social I couldn't believe people hated it. I'm glad with time people are going back and seeing she served stage presence.
It was simple but it was effective. It's totally a polar opposite of Circus and FF era performances where there were so many props that they would carry the performance and Britney could just be there walking around

So many critiqued this performance to bits back then (not me but there were many people), but knowing what she truly was going through, at this time. This performance hits a lot different now. I was reading some comments here then I watched this performance again and I have to say, this was quite a solid performance from her. Her moves were on point. She was totally feeling it and was on fire. Of course the song was slow, so the choreography would be according to it, but I thought the choreography was beautiful and she killed it without any extra production or gimmicks! That's work of a legend right there!

Honestly, it's probably her medications. It's not secret that Brit was hospitalized and is bipolar, and the medications for bipolar disorder cause a bit of anxiety, sleepiness, a dazed look in the eyes, blunted emotions, etc.
I thought of the same thing that she is on medication. The reason is that I am bipolar and I kind of knew that she was taking something. It shows if you experience it yourself
The fact that the track can be switched up on her like that and she immediately picks up and kills it shows she’s perfectly capable of making her own choices. It was fucking amazing!!! Finally! Just when I lost hope in Britney the DANCER, she delivers a performance with NO awkward moments at all. No awkward movements, no stiff walking, no nervous energy - for the first time in YEARS she looks like a genuine performer on stage. Full of confidence, sharp moves and looking stunning. I am so proud of her! After the BBMA's and watching how stiff she was, even her walking looked like a tree branch, it was such a pleasant surprise to see Britney really MOVE again. Now I know she's still got it. And she was not nervous at all! When she hit certain moves she reminded me of the old days. And when she went in-between Eazy's legs and the electricity of her moves, it was like the Toxic nude scene! WOW. THE FIRE IS BACK.

Am I the only one who genuinely likes this performance and thinks Britney did a great job? Her dancing is no where near as "stiff" as you all in the comments are making it out to be and even at this level, she still dances better than most pop stars and way better than any dancing the new crop of pop girls have even served including my other fave Selena. It just kind of pisses me off how people can hate on someone like Brit. She is one of the most humble and pure spirited celebs out there. Most of us grew up with her in the 90s and 2000s, seen how she has changed media culture and the things she went through. Everyone was a fan of hers, and I mean almost everyone. A true icon. She was one of my first crushes back when I was a kid lol. Truthfully my girlfriend gets annoyed when I defend Brit. I feel like she is an old friend who will always be a part of my childhood. It is so weird, I hate pop music. I'm a county fan who hunts and fishes, but for some reason I will always have a soft spot for Brit. She is, in some way, an old friend from the South who I feel I must back up when needed. There is no doubt that Beyonce had better visuals and stage production, but the entire lemonade album is an utter piece of dog shit, she lipped half of it and I didn't see anyone call HER out, she dances like an old chubby woman and she barely has any stage presence. Boring, overlong, with pretty visuals. All Britney had was a white backdrop and she still slayed Bey's ass.

I'm revisiting all her live performances since the conservatorship started after hearing her audios and putting everything together. She was saboutaged all the way. You can tell she was ready to sing live after the first bit and her microphone was turned off. She had the energy, she loved performing her Glory material, but she was being controlled every step. It's actually very sad to watch after everything came out. I hope she can go back to doing what she likes and enjoy herself on the stage again. I'll be here to support 100 %.

Wow her dancing is getting a lot better, I can start to see that spark in her coming back and her confidence, the dance routines she does these days maybe totally different to how she danced back in her day, but this is 2017 people not the 1990s, music is changing all the time, every artist has to keep up with it to sell records, yet on some level for me this is probably the best I've seen her dance at an awards show since the 2004 MTV music awards when she did Slave 4 U and by the way that was iconic, I don't think anybody can even come close to, or top that performance, the snake around her neck really scared the shit out of me, I was literally on the edge of my seat just praying the huge python wouldn't squeeze her to death! Dancing around with that on her shoulders fricking insane but never the less entertaining.
