Hope to see/hear more movements from the suite posted in the near future. Really like how you use the side of your palm on the bridge to add the slightest vibrato, it complements the harmonies perfectly.

Thanks - really. I’ll post the remaining eight movements the next eight Saturdays.
      Enjoy

I am a guitarist and composer and your music makes me want to compose for full orchestra… you have a composer’s mind!

Thanks, John - really. Well, eight more movements videos to come, each Saturday the following eight weeks. And like I wrote in the video text field, I made an album out of Gautigoths grand-guitar suite, and info on which digital platforms you can find it - even here on You-tube.
And ... I’m actually working on a triple album; which on the latter two there will be symphony/choir arr. added to it. Just me and my grand-guitar or/and symph. orch./choir on all three albums. Planned release; in 2026.

Oh, and if you have not checked it out, you might like my orchestral works in some of my tracks on the albums Defragmentism Project and Stockholm-Session Syndromes. Available on pretty much all the digital platforms - those mentioned in the text field in this video.
      Have a great weekend
      Robert

am I correct to say you've tuned it to perfect fourths on the last say 6 strings and maybe 5ths or a few 5ths in lower ones? This is kind of like relaxing meditation with the 4 repetitions of many sections. Have you gotten any inspiration from Erik Satie? I sense some similarity to a series from him but not really harmonically. Just that kind of calm vibe. Sounds really cool!!!

I get inspiration from many ... Erik Satie is certainly one of ’em. My 11-stringed grand-guitar is my "main ax" since -98, custom made on commission by me.
      The tuning system of my grand-guitar is (from "top to bottom" followed by string gauges): g (0,007), d (0,010), bb (0,013), f ((w) 0,018), C (0,026), G (0,036), D (0,046), G (0,060), Eb (0,072), D (0,074), C (0,080).

@@robertritchiesse thanks for that info. Wow, so it's 4ths and 2 maj 3rds also and half step and whole step between top 3 strings. that is odd! I guess it could make for some fun chords and kind of new places to explore. I'd be lost ad libbing w/o standard tuning I think. heheh thank ya!!!

How much does it cost to string your instrument up ? What are the string gauges. Any notes, comments or things to mention about setup maintenance ?
