This was super helpful. You saved the embroidery job my wife was working on. That small P shaped arm that’s connected to the sensor was stuck, and we freed it up and now it’s sewing beautifully again. Thank you so much.
Thanks for that, just fixed wifes machine. the check spring has to sit in the grove of the sensor arm on the bernina Aurora 440qe and you can re-position it by loosing off the spring screw, then position back in grove and tighten back up. have tried machine in quilt mode and works perfectly. THANKS AGAIN for the tutorial
Your check spring is either broken or the plastic arm that is responsible for breaking the light contact is disconnected. Instead of me making a different video showing you this... here is everything you need to know. ruclips.net/video/FMn8cho3X-o/видео.html I know the model is a 6 series but it is the same principle on your machine!
+Ivan Kochergin the black part at 2:16 is a diode and and receiver. If that is not the answer you are looking for please tell me what time of the video you are asking your question.
+mmascitti You have to change the entire part on the front... only can be done by a Bernina dealer!! sorry. On this model the spring can't be replaced only.
:-) sorry! put the USB stick in the machine that has the update on it. (be sure it is unzipped) Push both buttons above the speed slider on the front of the machine and turn the machine on. Follow the prompt on the screen. You will lose everything you have saved in the embroidery!!! Again if it does not work.. Bernina dealer!

At 3:50, thanks again
+Ivan Kochergin The part is called "Actuating Lever". This lever breaks the light in the sensor.
+Gregor Sidler Unfortunately for me, this is not possible, the dealer too far from us. can you help me to order this item?
+Ivan Kochergin please send me an email to the store and let's go from there..... I need to know where you are....etc..... berninatpa@aol.com
Hi Gregor! Can you give me the part number of the spring. Thanks.
+mmascitti you mean the spring at 0:51? the check spring? I need to know what model of Bernina you have to answer that question!
Sorry. Bernina Artista 640.

Hi, my Bernina 750 is Frozen at the welcome screen and it says error loading application, what can i do?
Download the latest update and try to install it. If that does not help, you need to bring it to your Bernina dealer.
can i install it even if i can't do anything like on the screen?

The Update worked. Thank you very much.
well heck... I told you so.......... LOLOL Glad it worked!! :-)
So how do I fix this problem?
You can't. Your Bernina mechanic has to repair it. The only thing you can do to overcome the problem. ...turn the sensor off
