As a Bangladeshi whenever we went to Bangladesh Jackfruit 24/7 long before it was trendy
Blessings my brother 🙏, I enjoy your videos, I am also from the island of Dominican 🇩🇴 and we have the same fruits

I enjoyed watching this. Have me missing home even more.
Good morning, my daughter is married to a Jamaican man, she talks about the food and fruit when we shop, I didn’t understand but I do now. Thank for this show/channel it’s a lot of help for me💪🏾💯❤️
Thank you so much hope you can come experience it sometime soon. Blessing to you and the family 🙏🏽
@@JamaicaFoodBoss welcome maybe one day💪🏾👍🏾
Love this video!Definitely different than what you normally show us.not a bad thing though!!!
Very informative as usual Matt. Large Up me seh!
I like the new intro! Jackfruit is not my favorite but I remember it being gigantic when I was a child. This one seems to be a smaller variety. Never heard naseberry called sandberry before. It always amazed me that you can taste sugar crystals in this fruit. Nothing like tree ripened bananas!
Thank you for this video! I honestly didn't realize you could eat a star fruit skin
I need to move to Jamaica ASAP! I love the food, fruit, women and the pure vibes.
Good morning Matt and Amanda fruits are one the less talked about items but Matt you take it to the next level I think Starfruit is called Jimbelin also and you forgot the " meanest fruit" the star apple Thanks Matt for sharing 💕💕💕💕💕 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks!
I really like the switch up to something different 👍🏾
Thanks makes me happy you enjoy the switch up 🙏🏽
FOOD BOSS yuh do it again showing Jamaica's blessings at it's best respect every time

Good morning good morning good morning. I use to love jackfruit growing up. I didn’t eat it for about 8 years and I went back to Jamaica couple years ago eat it and got a allergic reaction.
Blessed morning, general to you and your family. Always watch your videos been a while general good to see you up and running. Bless up Matt
Blessed morning! Much respect and bless up same way 🙏🏽
General, you educate me and my family about the different types of food and places where you can go and get good Jamaican food. Yeah, mon u videos dem bad. Need to see you with the lock and loaded crew plus top lodge.👍
Well done. Again, I am 😅😅😅 slightly jealous. But in a "caan wait to do that" way. Glad you are so good and enjoying all these foods on camera. It makes Jamaica as PLEASANT as it is, on camera. Thank you.
big fan man
one day I am gonna come to jamaica, has been my dream since I am 13
greetings from switzerland 👐♥️
That cerasee fruit takes me back to my childhood school days
My Senegalese husband said the naseberry is called Sapote in his country
Sapote in Jamaica is different
Jack Fruit is used as an ingredient in a slew of Vegan products: such as Beyond Meat Burger, Hot Dogs, Sausages etc., but is best enjoyed off the tree ripe and fresh. Love the video. It shows the diverse, food (Boss) centric-beauty of our island.
God bless. Sorry to hear about your grandmother. Take your time; the videos can wait.🙏🙏
Love jackfruit and neseberry. One love ❤️❤️🙏so sorry for your loss. 🙏🙏❤️
My condolences Matt
The Wild Soursop Anonna jamaicensis is endemic to Jamaica and also the Wild Cherimoya of Jamaica.

THE INDIANS CURRY IT, THEY ALSO COOK THE SEEDS. JAMAICANS COOK THE SEEDS ALSO, MIX IT WITH JUNE PLUM.
I just discovered your channel and I love it, you're so knowledgeable!! I've been there 4 times and I love the people and food. I'm a vegetarian and felt so happy finding all the fresh fruits and vegetables. I sure miss it there and wish I could move.
Thank you 🙏🏽 really appreciated and hope we can share more of the fresh fruits and vegetables the island has to offer. We have a diverse culinary scene which I wish I could find more of this to highlight. One love

I grew up with jack fruits.
My husband owns.
I believe the naseberry is called Sapodilla in the fruit dictionary if there is one..
This video is simply World Class
Thank you so much 🙏🏽
Our custard apple has the same name as Jamaican custard apple. However in St.kitts our custard apples are bigger,. the outside of the fruit is very red, some are pink or some are white.
Custard apple is one fruit I did not like growing up.
Shalom Brethren Nesberry called Sapadella
The naseberry, sand berry is also called Sapodilla.
Bro I like what you’re doing bring light to our country and around the world but there is something that I also want to share with you need to get some of that red outside of the peanut and make some tea with it because I was watching and I can see that your hands were shaking and that outer part of the peanut is very good for it
That is the meanest fruit only time in drop is when it is rotten it bear in September that why September man so mean LoL 😆
❤
AHA! That yellow bitter thing we call it "lizard food" in st.Kitts.
Look at J styling. I see you, bruh.
I'm out here in Jamaica and we still haven't linked up yet! 🧐😂🇯🇲
Liked, seconds into the video.
I know Jamaican fruits are seasonal, when is the best time to visit so that I can enjoy the all?
It depends on the fruit. If you want mangoes you go from may through the summer
This needs a part 2
That Jackfruit needed more time.
The Elephant inna di room?!?

Hello!!! How do I set up a short tour for fruit tasting my husband and I will be there 5/4 to 5/7
I can not eat the custard apple,no matter how I try,,nope, dont like sweet sop either.too sweet.
WOULD NOT COOK DOWN JACKFRUIT....WOULD LOSE ALL THE GOOD NUTRIENTS , JUST EAT IT AS IS!
Not a bad attempt at 'Fruit Porn'...number 1 fruit in the world, JACKFRUIT
Nothing can beat a nicely ripened sweetsop for me
Jackfruit and most variety of fruits especially mango originated in Indian continent. Jackfruit is native to south Indian state called Kerala. It's real name is ചക്ക പഴം- chakka Fruit. Ganja ( another stuff that came to Jamaica with Indian slave trade ). Jamaican's favorite spice Scotch bonnet pepper 🌶️ is native to Africa. Even language Patois language is mix with Indian, African, chinese language called " Hindi " unfortunately most Jamaicas says it's broken English, but the language ( patois) was created to communicate in-between slave's without the slave owner notified. And another thing is blessed by Indian slaves are Currys. In India curry means " mix of different species with sauce" example curry goat, curry chicken etc. List goes on.
Did you know that the Jackfruit is what Wrigley's Juicey Fruit is made from. It's a secret they held for years. Tell people that next time also. Look it up online. The Jackfruit extract is their base flavor. So if anyone wants to know what a Jackfruit tastes like then buy a pack of Juicy Fruit gum.
