Thank you master Biggs! You’ve done so well with every single one of these guides. I’ve scoured across the internet for years to find guides to boost my performance in game and be the best team player I can be, and I’ve found none better then these guides that you’ve been putting out these last couple months. From Vulkk, to Dulfy, to Swtorista; all of which are legends in this community, I dare say that I’ve found that you’ve been the most comprehensive, the most translatable to in-game application and practice, and the most fun to listen to. All I have to say, sir, is well done. Truly well done. You should be most proud of what you’ve done for SWTOR. I can’t recommend your guides to people enough. Can’t wait wait to see what you do next. Cheers

Very nice rundown of the Sage healer rotation. I greatly appreciate the time you took to make this video explaining how to heal -- I learned some new motions, too! Thanks!

Some good advice I've discovered as someone new to guilds, with a tank who knows how to do their job, intentionally run easier ops the dumbest ways possible. This past week or two I've had a tank in the guild who is amazing at that role, and we've been just for fun doing boss mechanics wrong. As a healer, it makes life extremely challenging, but I've learned A TON from it! Finding a way to heal him and the others through obscene amounts of damage without using all of my energy is tough, but I've gotten much better at energy management. I'm also really understanding what each of my healing abilities and cooldowns do, both at base and with the bonuses they apply. Coming back to watch videos like this, I'm really learning how to make the best of this class, even though I'm not close to max gearing yet. You're going to learn how to use any class better by simply practicing and seeing which things went well and what didn't, take input from the group if they have suggestions, ask them what they noticed about your performance. And for the sake of fun, let the tanks play things wrong in a controlled manner and use this as a chance to learn, especially when running easier ops. It's surprisingly fun running shenanigans like that!

I main Sage Seer, and have been playing that class for 10 years, as it was the very first class I played at prelaunch in 2011. I even recently wrote a private guide for my guild, "Secrets of the Seer". And I have to say, I'm at a loss as to how you managed to produce 14 class guides in 14 days and yet were still able to get this one down so perfectly. Even I learned something from this video. I didn't know Rejuvenate can "supercharge" Wandering Mend. I was simply putting Wandering Mends on tanks and saving Rejuvenate for Healing Trance and Salvation and sometimes even Deliverance, though, I rather use Mental Alacrity before Deliverance. You're not supposed to know all of these secrets! Yet somehow you do. I don't know how you did it. My only guess is that you learned Kung Fu from Buddha himself! .. or the devs.
Either way, props, and respect to you, my man. The Force is STRONG AF with you.

Probably shouldn't use your guide then lol

Thanks for all these guides, I love how you're focusing on the more average player. I personally don't care about being the best, I just want to not suck enough to enjoy the game and your basic rotations have helped me a lot. I'll take a five step average rotation over a 20 step millisecond precision uber rotation any day.

A couple notes on mastering the seer, first I have a question. With the latest update I've got full rakata upgraded and am focused on my stats/augments (honestly I'm using purple augs right now, don't have credits yet for legendary augs, and don't have the time or effort for crafting them). Exactly what are ideal thresholds for alacrity and crit on this build? I've had a preference toward crit because hitting each alacrity threshold is costly and your force management depends heavily on using crit to gain free vindicates. This is important because energy management is a challenge on this build and running out is catastrophically bad! I get that having shorter GCD's is beneficial and all, I definitely enjoy high alacrity on my medicine healer, but seer is more about cadence and it seems to me like the thresholds are too high to not sacrifice too much critical and force management specific to this class. Or, am I just doing something wrong?
My other point is on "rotations". Of course, healers don't have rotations, but they do have combos that work best for different situations. That said, a friend taught me a really nice set of "rotations" to maintain healing and force energy, while having the ability to modify it for specific situations and return to the base rotations. Basically, for AOE it's 1. rejuvenate 2. wandering mend 3. healing trance, then 4. back to rejuvenate 5. salvation 6. healing trance again. In the middle of this, you'll frequently throw in free vindicates to maintain energy, not waste them on maxing the stack, and keep throwing out all this healing for high up-time and consistent energy replenishment. It's a cadence to keep this going that becomes instinctive with practice. The single/two target rotation is as follows: 1. rejuvenate 2. keeper of peace 3. deliverance (only when flashing) and 4. healing trance. You can throw multiple keeper of peace's back to back for major burst healing windows on one or two targets, but watch your force energy. After this cadence become instinctive, you'll start to find places where you can modify and return to baseline for more effective healing in windows and heal checks. This cadence also enabled me to focus more on my surroundings and learn better times to use specific offensive and defensive cooldowns. For example, mental alacrity is great for burst healing checks to throw three back to back keeper of peace's and then return to force management. Or when you know the mechanics of a fight, then pre-emptively using force barrier with empowered restorer can prevent a ton of damage going out or be used last minute to stave off a wipe. Basically, this basic set of rotations enabled me to have a baseline cadence where I can maintain good output and then focus on specific situations where I need to do something special, all while maintaining energy more easily and only needing force potency and stacking weary followed by the cleanse with force barrier in emergency situations.
    What are ya'lls thoughts?

I tried healing spec on my sorc today, and have to say,for me,sorc heal spec is very flexible, along with the fact I had aoe healing cause 2 dps's had no idea why they were taking dmg in the Red reaper boss fight so I pulled them near the location, aoe healed them and I took some dmg of the boss's lightning phase and did the whole mechanic thing so we wouldn't die xD. But seriously it was a fun experience

The Tank's job is to hold the boss. The DPS's job is to kill the boss. The Healer's job is to handle the dumbfuck DPS.

@@Biggsgaming we didn't have any tanks for that fp,cause the gf couldn't find a tank for our grp so I had to take some dmg,the good thing was I had static barrier with the skill which inflicts some dots on the target that hits me so we managed to pull the fight off pretty easily

Hey Mark, are these healer guides still relevant for Feb 2023? Who is the most potent healer with AOE heals along with single target? I love aoe heals in a mmo. Is Sage the best healer or ? I'm a total newbie and haven't made a class yet!

If you’re looking for baby’s first healer, merc is the way to go. Very straightforward, not much to juggle, easy to understand single target heals with strong AoE missile/scan combo. It also has a strong defensive toolkit to help keep you alive. HOWEVER cool factor will always override Min max, especially when you’re just getting started.
