You have to wait for landorus to kind of stretch out his arms, it stretching gives you a easier shot to catch it

They can do it back to back for sure, you just have to find the timing in between the animations to throw it. Sometimes you have to throw the ball right before the 1st animation finishes in order to get it on time for the 2nd one.
He should of said less likely, I've already had a Kyogre do 4 attack animation on my back to back while I was doing this technique
You're doing it wrong then, these animations have a cooldown. You need to hit your ball in that timeframe.
It is all about the timing. If you time it that the circle shows up right before your ball hits it is pretty much impossible for them to do another attack. Sometimes I time it that the ball hits before you even see the circle.

Without berries you have 1 in 33 chance to catch it and your shiny legendary finding chances is 1 in 20 that's why i have to shiny legendaries
New research shows that catching raid pokemon gets easier after the fifth ball. So golden rass then if your low.

During go fest I cought kyurem on the last ball with no berrys and no circle bonus since I knew I wasnt gonna catch him but I did and I was so happy cause it ended up being a 96%
there was his video once where he told how the last pokeball throw is always a catch if pokemon didt break free after 1 movement of the ball( movement of ball mean like you know how it moves 3 times before actually catching pokemon that movement) so you can hold your breath for shorter time if the same situation appear itself.

Always done this and have an extremely high catch rate. Am so confident now I use normal pineapples down to the last 5 balls. It takes patience but the rewards for me are worth it. When we had Landorus I did 277 raids and caught 270. The ones that got away were because of sticky ball glitch, raid errors or rain :) This is the best advice for catching raid bosses or if going for the 999 excellent throws needed to get to lvl 50 :)
Glad you could give us some proof that it works! Once you have this technique down you can catch allmost anything in the game!
I tried this with a deoxys the other day...5 excellent throws with gold berries and he broke out of every one. Wasn't able to catch him sadly

If you are not hitting pretty much Every excellent throw then use Great. For example if you have 13 balls and you can only hit 5 excellent out of those 13 then that is 8 balls you are getting no bonus. Statistically you are better off if you can hit every single great on 13 balls.
Strange enough use a pokeball I could waste 10 ultra balls or use 2 and 1 pokeball and somehow it works

The trick for Landurous and I don't even know why no one is making a video about it is this here is the golden tip on Landorus or probably the rest of the legendaries.... The trick is turn the sound up and listen for the growl... Their growl goes along with the attack animation. So listen for the growl and wind up your throw when the growl starts and toss it right when the growl is over. I think the number one player in the world Brandon hinted at this but no one has made a specific video. So there you go use your ears and listen for the growl. That's your que to get ready to toss

Damn I need tips on how to consistently throw excellent
Flashback to when I got a hundo Mewtwo on the last ball. It was 13 minutes after the kanto event started and It was my second raid
Been doing this forever now, can’t remember last time I didn’t hit an excellent on a legendary.
I felt big brain knowing i already do this all even throw before they finish the animation so even if they do back to back its not possible to block
Another great way is having a buddy pokémon with at least two hearts.
That way, they knock the pokéballs back to them. There's supposed to be a "chance" that it happens, but so far, my buddy did it reliably every single time.
I did a excellent throw with golden razz 3 times in a row and the Pokémon breaks out super easily
I was catching an regigigas 97% IV and threw 12 excellent curve with golden razz and it still escaped ._.

@@paperbagboi3185 sad, but it almost always takes more than 3 excellent curve to capture a raid legendary pokemon, I think I have 12 Yveltal's and none of them took me less than that

It happens, iv had like 9-10 excellent throws in a row. Usually golden razz+excellent throws and great throws as much as possible is your best chance. Even if it takes it down to the last ball which it has for me before. But more then not if you do that you’ll catch them.
Fun fact, if you have a great buddy in Pokémon go, there’s a high chance it will help you when the legendary Pokémon does their attack animation, and that trick can go for any Pokémon.

Quick tip for those if yall in rural areas without many Pokéstops, and Gyms, use PokéRaid. It’s basically where you and other people can do a raid together from around the world for the Pokémon you want. Although I don’t know if you could get banned, but yeah.

Hold ur left thumb on the berry icon and move it slightly to the righy then while holding it like that throw the ball the release berry and hit run 9 times out of 10 it will be caught. Quick catching is the best way to do it
Woah thanks allot for this trick I lost a rayquaza because it hit the pokeballs away and I wanted rayquaza so much it is my favorite pokemon I was so sad and I lost a mega blastoist because of the pokeballs getting smacked

Wait...the circle was never an issue, landing your ball in the circle was and usually is
Just catch heaps of pokemon and you'll eventually get a rough gage of the distance/angles needed to throw for most legendaries. I still find it hard to catch the ones that strafe side to side tho. Near impossible for me to hit those circles. Glhf 👌
@@benf2682 yeah but the thing is no one had an issue with the excellent circle, nada everyone usually goes with excellent throws and are like ah right OK with their greats. Im pretty good at throwing them when they sway to the right side tho the left side is still a pain.
@@makzi4429 yeah i usually spin clockwise so i have trouble throwing to the left as well. I usually wait for them to recenter but sometimes that can really take a while.

I do this and I always wait until they throw their biggest “fit” for knocking the balls away. The “fit” consists of two or more animations back to back; if you listen with sound on, it’s easier to detect. Each Legendary and Mythical are different. Another trainer pointed this out to me after taking a break from PoGo for a year. Since then, my catch rate has gone up substantially! The key thing is to have patience and let them jump up & down all they want. I can sometimes take 10 minutes to catch one, but I generally catch it. Thanks @SalvastRamirez for your great tips; I wouldn’t have the catch rate I now have!

This is gonna be helpful because I’ve chocked all of the legendary raids I’ve won ever since picking this game up again
Sometimes it’s a grind, but it is the only way to not lose them lol I’ve had so many back to back excellent throws just to catch the legendary with 3 or 4 balls left
I typically throw right as the animation is ending. The timing can be tricky for some of them but if you nail it it’s REAAAALLY safe. Issue is I nail all my throws and still lose the legendary bc it breaks out of all its balls way more often than I’d like to admit.

I use my buddies that are past great buddy too, so that they can give me a catch assist of the pokemon still happens to knock back the pokeball
I liked the old Pokémon where you could actually catch a legendary if you completed those week things
To this day I still have a raikou
Sometimes I feel trying to calculate when to throw it (like after an animation) can lead to more knockbacks because it seems like back to back animations aren’t super rare
I recommend getting to Hearts with your buddy so when they block your poke ball and it comes back your buddy will pop in and knock it right back at the Pokémon really cool

Heres a tip: You can get silver pinap berries (that's what they're called right??) And golden raspberries by getting yourself a packet of pokemon go cards, you can get a code that gives some stickers, some other stuff and one of the two.

I used to do this back with darkrai and landarus. Was fun I had like a 90% excelent throw rate and didn't fail a single one out of 20 of each.
This technique is super effective. I tried it for a week and i was getting excellent s nonstop. Never was getting no bonuses
i have caught more legendaries with normal throws than i have with excellent throws, even if i get 5 excellent throws in a row

You can also use a great buddy so if it hits the ball back it’ll just throw it back to the pokémon you’re catching and if you do the excellent trick you’ll also get an excellent when this happens
Also use at least 2 nanabs to calm them down 1st it helps alot
