as someone who actually watched the "wetten dass" incident i have to point out, that the show was somewhat misrepresented in this video. First of all, the contestants wernt "given a task", the people usually applied to the show and created their own challenges ("wetten, dass..." can be translated as "I bet you that....") which could be dangerous (like in the video) or simply impressive in other ways (depending on what the contestants actualy did). There were also no "judges", and the woman being shown there was simply a guest. The contestants would win if they actually beat their accepted challenges. Also the show didnt get a lot of hate, which this video implied, the show actually took a break and they (obviously) chose to accept less dangerous challenges, which in return meant less spectable ones, and therefore lead into less views and the eventual cancelation.

For the first video I'll just say this the guy ultimately tried to forced his best friend to have sex with him knowing that this friend/crush was straight. A human can only take so much crap from another person before they snap and do something they normally wouldn't do.
