It's great to see videos like this, there's so few actuarial content creators I can find. I'm starting an actuary Internship in life insurance and this makes me feel more comfortable with it.

As someone who just started working towards pursuing an actuarial science degree after being out is school for some years now, this vid was a good find. Really insightful stuff. Combine that with my guess you’re a fellow Jamaican, I’m subbing for more of this content. Lol Good stuff

Like with any job, a position will go to the most qualified person - so I'd say look through job postings to see what skill sets employers are looking for. Your job will teach you how to apply your skills to what they need you to do

I am in my first year second semester as a Social Worker, and this semester is the shortest and I haven't start studying due to course work .

Actuarial Science / Actuarial Mathematics is a degree offered by most schools. That should be ideally what you're looking for
