Jin is now a commander and assistant at the training camp. Private First Class - he taught his unit a chore dance, Jin wrote the Korean lyrics and Chris loved them. He was not used to being alone w/o the other members so Chris and the Coldplay really embraced him. This was his first time singing this song to a live crowd... the song was only out a few days and the crowd knew the words already.
I believe he's an assistant instructor now, he was a trainee unit leader during the basic training (I guess that's what you call commander?)

when this concert ended, every army in that stadium were crying and hugging each other despite they didn't knew each other. and that was the power of BTS. although we are from different parts of the world but we treat each other like a family. they bring us together and bind us together with their music.
Jin was actually teary-eyed when he was performing and wasctrying so hard to hold his tears as this was his last stage performance before enlisting.
Jin traveled 80 hours in total just to say goodbye to ARMY if that's not love then I don't know what is, I miss you Jin 😪💜

God, the amount of time I cried watching and listening to this performance.
I just love how coldplay embraced jin. And I love the relationship bts members develop with their idols and the people they look upto.
Coldplay, jcole, nas, they all just seem to recognise the sincerity and pure love that bts has towards them.
Even today, and it's been like close to a 100 days since jin left, Chris Martin carries around a plushy character that was made by jin during concert performances.
It's just cute af.
Chris was so happy to find them, these lovely young men who approached the world so much like he does even though they're from such a different place. I love the sheer pride and joy on his face when he watches Jin performing here - he's like the most devoted older brother.
And yeah, when they get to work with the people they look up to, it's so lovely and wholesome. It makes me so proud to be ARMY, the way everyone who works with them talks about them.
Jin is one of the biggest Coldplay fan and it was he was the reason behind BTS × Coldplay "My Universe " collab happened in the first place (according to chris martin). He was even gifted Chris's personal guitar. The Astronaut was so special because it was a surprise good bye gift for us fans and with in a very short period of time the song sky rocketed in the charts. Its already been 100 days since his enlistment and this song is one of the reasons that keep us going on. Jin is my bias even though I love 7 of them. He practically has something that makes me love him every day more and more. He's so talented and after seeing so many videos of him upto now I know that he's more than what we see. Whether it's his vocal,acting, dancing or even in sports. And jin was the reason why I became a army at first and here I am after years later still stanning him 💜. He loves to goof around also he is blunt as heck when it comes to replying to army tweets and comments. Love this lejindary man a lot. He has many amazing solo songs such as "abyss " which he released on his birthday but it's not a happy song. Its another song like "awake" and "tonight" ,kinda dark and sad as he wrote it when he went through a burnout (he had to go through therapy as well). jin is person who is hard on himself and it's sad but thanks to the members and people around him,he's holding everything up pretty well. Plus his OST "yours" for the Kdrama Jirisan is another banger (manifesting actor Jin to happen when he discharge from the military since he's theatre major graduate from one of the prestigious university in S.Korea where he enrolled on top 1% with an early admission) . you know what, I cried for one month straight whenever i thought about Jin after he left for military (still i feel emotional when i see everything related to him) he is the eldest one, who always cheer us and it felt like one of my family member was leaving me. the more i thought about him i cried even more.
this song is not only a song but also a emotion, which helped us(army) to bind even more strongly.

Chris is the front man of the British band Coldplay. Since Coldplay went to Korea to record the song My Universe, they became really good friends. I'm incline to say that Jin has a special connection with Chris. When Coldplay was in Vegas for a show around the same time as BTS PTD concert, Chris gave his favorite guitare to Jin. Chris was also a special guess at the BTS show to sing My Universe. A few months back, I was watching an interview with Coldplay and when the host said something, well, let's say not very nice, Chris did not let it slide. He told the host that their band members feel very protective of BTS. Seeing the host's face and how he tried to redeem himself was very funny.💜💜💜

Fun fact: both BTS and Coldplay have an affinity to stars, planets, space. You see that in lyrics, symbolism, reference to sun and moon. Jin is considered to be Army's moon. He has a song called Moon. And for Coldplay, I believe this show was called Music of he Spheres - you see all the planets at their show. There's just a kinship between Coldplay and BTS but especially between Chris and Jin.

Yes, this was initially created by Coldplay, but it's JIN's song. They worked on it together, and JIN actually changed the melody and added his Korean lyrics to it. When it was created, Chris Martin had JIN's ideas on what he wanted. So please remember this is JIN's solo track. I am really happy that you watched the live performance. I cried when the song came out, and I listened to it non-stop. Then when this performance came out, It hit me hard. And seeing Argentina ARMY's reacting to JIN's peformance of this song just made it more emotional. Especially when they were chanting "Kim Seok-jin". He enlisted in December 13, 2022. and he will come back to us on June 12, 2024.
J-Hope is next, and he has his date set, but we won't know what it is until he is ready to tell us. J-Hope 'On The Street' (with J-Cole) is HOBI's version of a Good Bye For Now song to ARMY's. He went live with us after it released, and he went live with us when his label announced his enlistment. These guys give us so much. By the way, HOBI has pre-recorded new versions of his HOPE ON THE STREET dance videos, where he does hip hop freestyles. He said he had been working hard on that so we will have something to look forward to when he is gone. I'm going to link JIN's entrance ceremony with the guys. Thanks for watching this special performance. Jin was very nervous indeed, and Chris and the others looked after him with special care. It might seem odd to hear that one of the most famous singers in the world who is used to singing - snd sometimes playing - in front of audiences of 10s of 1000s, would be nervous, but I think Lin is one member who gives more credit for what he does to all the other members. He's also spoken about how, when one of them is not with the group, he is uncomfortable, anxious, as if he had lost his wallet or his phone. I think they all feel similarly to that.
So to hear Chris's deeply empathic introduction, and see his embrace was indeed very touching. It is rare in any culture I think for a heterosexual male to kiss the neck of another male,, but this was such a genuine gesture of care and respect that no wonder it plucked you heart.
I'd also like to compliment you on your screen layout - we can see each of you and it allows you to provide a large and clear image of what you are watching. Excellent.

Two years ago, during My Universe era, Coldplay & BTS met in the US and Chris gave Jin his prized guitar which he has been using for decades and he wrote on it World Wide Handsome Jin with his signature...that guitar was seen in the MV of The Astronaut. Jin said he will be displaying that guitar as part of family heirloom in their house. Jin is one of the most successful fanboy collaborating with Chris & Coldplay.
