It's still a hard MV for me to watch because I miss him so much. But I love the song and MV. It's such a beautiful love letter to us. Especially since he calls us his Earth and refers to himself as ARMY'S moon. Having a space themed goodbye was a great touch. I like that he was the alien astronaut who crashed onto Earth and found his new home with the little girl bonding with him. It's much like his journey in real life where he was going about his day, got randomly scouted by a talent agent and got pulled into the new world of kpop and found his new home with BTS and ARMY. As the eldest brother, he tends to take on a caretaking role for the group and us. It seems fitting that it's a younger person representing ARMY. Even though most of us are the same age and older than him. He'll always hold the eldest brother role for us. He even created an astronaut character for us named Wooteo. It's so adorable and we treat him like Jin's 2nd fictional son. We got stickers and stuff for Wooteo in the packaging for the single. I still want to get the cute Wooteo plushie. I already have a plushie he designed (RJ) so it would be nice to have both.

So many army were emotional wrecks the day this came out (my wife, a notable jin bias was sobbing alot that day). It was a totally foreign thing to him having no training in singing or dancing. He always says how much Army has helped him (they all do of course) as well as the other members. The way the video ties into the situation. Him leaving for the military and teaching the little girl to ride a bike before he goes, visiting the spaceship and then going home back to army after he's seen it. His expression I believe is very straight because he felt very indifferent, he wasn't happy about leaving but he knew he had to but he knew he was going to return. We have to go through this with another 6 members. 💔

Nice that you guys got a happy vibe from this beautiful song, for us, long time Armys it was a crying galore worldwide. Jin is an ET in the video, he crashes on earth, but doesn’t know how to express emotions. The girl represents Army, as in the person that made him fell emotions never before experienced. When he hears that a ship was seen, he knows it’s time to go back home, so he says goodbye to the little girl and let her go (the bike riding scene), but when the time comes for him to really go, he can’t, he decides to stay forever. 😭

This is a music video about the journey of an Astronaut who has to return to his home planet, but eventually decides to stay on Earth with his loved ones and precious things.
Yeah, you're right. He was an alien that crashed on earth. The little girl represents Army. It's kind of like him feeling like an alien when he started with BTS. It was a totally foreign thing to him having no training in singing or dancing. He always says how much Army has helped him (they all do of course) as well as the other members. But the little girl showed him the way to finding himself. He was emotionless through the video except at the end when he realized his home was now Earth and the little girl was his family. Which is why he chose to stay after his ship was repaired 😊 Or something like that!
I don't know if you guys watch other reactors or not, but other Army that may be reading this comment do. I'm not trying to plug them, but I do enjoy their reactions as well. But there are twin sisters in this video as extras. The filming was their first experience with Jin/BTS. They hadn't watched them before. Anyways, they did their first reaction on this video (obviously) because they were in it & wanted to see if their parts made it in. They have fallen down the rabbit hole as well. I think their channel is called the Ortega twins or something.

you should definitely react to the performance of the astronaut with coldplay. he wrote this song as a goodbye for now for armys because of him going to the military. jin started out as a fan of coldplay to meeting them, to collabing with them with my universe, to now having his own song with them. it really warms my heart and the tannies (bts) friendship with coldplay is the most heartwarming thing ever. coldplay always speaks highly of the members and show their support and love. when you watch the performance, you will honestly cry, everyone did. i showed my ma the performance and i could see she was getting emotional.

The way the video ties into the situation. Him leaving for the military and teaching the little girl to ride a bike before he goes, visiting the spaceship and then going home back to army after he's seen it. His expression I believe is very straight because he felt very indifferent, he wasn't happy about leaving but he knew he had to but he knew he was going to return. We have to go through this with another 6 members. 💔
Yeah, you're right, the little girl represents ARMY and he came to earth, lived with this family, had the chance to go back but stayed here. It is such an important, meaningful song to us all, as it was his parting gift before he went to the military.

Nice that you guys got a happy vibe from this beautiful song, for us, long time Armys it was a crying galore worldwide. Jin is an ET in the video, he crashes on earth, but doesn’t know how to express emotions. The girl represents Army, as in the person that made him fell emotions never before experienced. When he hears that a ship was seen, he knows it’s time to go back home, so he says goodbye to the little girl and let her go (the bike riding scene), but when the time comes for him to really go, he can’t, he decides to stay forever. 😭
