Very cute! Schnauzers are so spunky, playful and very loving dogs. We have a 2 year old black miniature schnauzer and she is amazing. Cheers from Canada. 🇨🇦
You will enjoy every day with your Giant in your lives. We've had 4 over the years. 2 have passed on and 2 are alive and well. Best dogs around and when clipped properly they are real people magnets so be ready to answer lots of questions as new ambassadors of this noble breed. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Hello from Los Angeles. Found your video by accident, but I totally remembered Miguel's face from Pomerland. I have been speaking with him for almost a year. As we live in the States, it's hard to find Giant Schnauzers...let alone a Pomerland GS. We wanted a dog that was hypoallergenic, good with family, athletic, and also protective. Very important that we find a dog that is sweet and a big heart. It looks like Togo is all that. Congratulations and I am about to put my reservation down today finally!
YES!! Miguel from Pomerland is an amazing person. And Togo, he is more than we could have ever wished for. I can tell that you have done a lot of research on this specific breed and I believe you will not regret it! We cannot imagine our life without our Togo :)
Would love to see an update. I have an 8 year old Mini Schnauzer and a 1 year old Giant Schnauzer. The Giant Schnauzer is not for the typical pet lover. Great dog but needs plenty of room to play and needs a lot of attention. These dogs are very very strong, if not trained properly they will be hard to handle. Perfect dog for a farm owner who has a lot of property. The Giant Schnauzer is happy working all the time. Also a 6ft chain link fence will not contain the dog. The dog will hop right over it. But over all the Giant Schnauzer is an awesome dog.
Giant Schnauzers most definitely need a lot of attention , proper training and SPACE! We knew what we were committing to when we got Togo and he is definitely thriving. The broken leg was an unexpected setback which we have now conquered. He has a sweet demeanour and is very responsive to obedience training. They do require a lot of patience and constant (!) repetition of commands. It is not easy, but it is definitely worth the journey. We could not be happier to have chosen this breed.
I forgot to add our boys names, Ronin (RIP), Brody (RIP), Royce (9) and Briggs (5). I love the name you chose and I can tell he has a good character already :)
Togo the Giant Schnauzer I had a little tear when you picked Blue. Picked up Royce 9 years ago and he was Blue and the only other pup was the Red one. We pick Blue too! The breeder/pro trainer was firm to put him in his crate for the ride and don’t give in. We left, I was made to stop the car and my wife retrieved Royce and he rode the 1 hour 45 minutes on her lap first. Then I pulled over and traded so he slept on my lap. Instant love. Today he’s almost 10 and like a pup still and strong and healthy.
In Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦 5 years ago we got Briggs. He was a show quality boy for $2000. Show went from $2000-2500 then. Pet quality was usually $1200-1800.
No puppy should be removed from its mother before 8-weeks. Your dog is going to have issues understanding the body language of other dogs because they never got a chance to learn it.
I don't understand why people go to a breeder, meet 4 puppies who are very happy playing with each other and decide to take one away; the best thing you can ever do for your dogs (or cats for that matter) is to ensure they aren't alone... and as much as we humans may love and play with them, we are just not a replacement for another one of them. Trust me, get your four legged friend(s) another four legged friend(s), much sooner rather than later... and almost as importantly, buy their food from the meat department NOT the pet "food" isle.
glad he has his ears and tail.
Omg iam sooooo jealous 😢. What a sweet baby
He went to the right family. Good choice guys. How could you go wrong, love em all.
Thank you so much for the sweet comment, Dave!! We are having a lot of fun with Togo! All the best!
Congratulations! My girl is 9 months old! What a wonderful ride it has been!

Where can buy Schnuzer ?
We bought him from a breeder who only breeds Giant Schnauzers. Look in your area for same.
Can you please tell cost of puppy

Yes, this is very much in line with our cost, here is Europe. It will vary a bit depending on the breeder..
Here in the States:
Regular puppy-2-2.5K
Show quality 2.5-3.5K
Cropping ears can be extra500$

Well, no such issues. 9 months and thriving - happy, healthy and well-adjusted puppy.

Fair enough, JCS, thanks for sharing your point of view.
JCS, No need to be so dogmatic.
