The reason Joyous implemented that snippet of the song at 3:47 was because that same few seconds of “Don’t” was used in Sonic PC Port. Specifically the part where Green Hills is being burned down and the plants become disgustingly personified, which is also a stage used in this song.
It quite literally hit me that I love this song to death when I realized I’ve been listening to the track itself and the instrumental back to back for past like 3 hours I love your work Sturm and I’m always eager to see what you make next
