I bet those 3 middle sponges are private labeled and made by the same company/ factory. It would be interesting to find out! I learned all about private labeling by StephanieNicole and Morphe specifically private labels almost all of their products. Not throwing shade at Morphe , just interesting to learn the ins and outs of the beauty industry!

There may be dozens of other "sponge" reviews on RUclips, but you still managed to make it unique with sponges I had never seen before.

Just like your review about the Ulta sponges, I bought it before watching your video but didn't use it until this morning. It absorbed all of my concealer and didn't cover my under eyes. Your reviews on products are truly helpful. Love watching your videos 😊
a really good time to get a beauty blender is in the sephora fave boxes. I was going to by one awhile back and saw there was a box for $40 that had like 6 other products, including the blender. So I basically paid the extra twenty for a laura highlight, lippman polish, tarte blush, roller lash and lipstick. I love those curated boxes

The Beauty Blender is made of a patented material so there will never (never say never) be an exact dupe. But, you can obviously get great results from other ones. I had the pink and then got the black and I agree, I can't see any difference! (Mine is covered with dog hair too lol)

My real techniques sponge tears too! And i find that sometimes it has strange black marks. Really weird but i still love the finish it gives to my foundation
I thought it was just me and that i was being rough but no matter how soft i wash it it tears..now on the black marks if that happens throw it away it happened 2 me with a beauty blender and it was mold..i cut it in half and it had mold inside
That's mold throw it away. That's why i prefer brushes

I remember that the H&M beauty Sponge was the first that I bought! The original beauty blender had just come out but I couldn't buy it right that moment and so I settled for the other one and then when I finally did buy the real one, the comparison was UNREAL 😂

I use the Real Techniques one & really like it, but you're right, they do tear easy. I find that if I use my kitchen sink sprayer on it, its more gentle. Love your videos!!!❤
I tried a forever 21 sponge and it expanded like CRAZY! I've never seen one get that huge. It blends decently but it is just soooo soft 😍

I take my sponge with me when I shower everyday. This way, I use a clean sponge all the time and I use my facial soap to clean them at least I know Im not allergic to the product that I use in my sponge.😄
there is a soap called zote and it cleans them BEAUTIFULLY

With my first two, the molded really quickly. I was storing them in a drawer. Now, I store them on my counter and I don't have any issues :)

tarte mentioned on their page that you shouldnt wet the sponge to apply foundation, maybe because of wetting the sponge they didnt like it..

Also the Sonia kashuk one is horrible. It's super stiff and doesn't expand in water.

Not having tried the original Beauty Blender, but watching this video, I thought these might be a good alternative. They are so soft and bouncy. I'm in love.

If you're from the UK, a really good dupe for the beauty blender is the Primark version. It's only £1!!! So it's worth a try!!
I think them sponges are so stiff but the orange one is the best out of the 4 in my opinion

No they aren't they're made of a different material and if you've tried an actual makeup sponge like the real techniques it's completely different and much better

i came across a duo at walmart not long ago with a purple sponge that is similar to the beauty blender, except it has a little ridge in the middle of it, and a black one that looks like the 3 you had with the same hourglass kind of shape. they are both very soft and expand nicely. i love both of them! i think they were under 5 bucks. worth checking out

I found that on amazon(the 2-pckg one) and bought it a loooong time ago (and they were perfect). But recently when I purchased from amazon again, the sponge (BB) wasn't the same :( so i think i didn't get an original. Sad.

OMG! I thought it was just me, but I always tore up the Real techniques sponges! My last one ripped almost in half in less than a month! I got sick of burning through them, so I ordered the Pur sponge and I love it!
You aren't too rough with the RT MCS, mine tears way to easily too! After going through 4 of them, I gave up. I have 3 of the Original Beauty Blenders, an Elf BB, a pink BB from Royal and Langnickle, & the black Gauchis BB and none of them give me any problems when it comes to durability!

My black beauty blender ripped after the second time I used it, I couldn't even return it because I used it a month later after I bought because I wanted to only use it on special occasions. It sucked :-) I'm hoping I got a defective sponge because for 20 dollars and for it to rip on the second go is pure crap!
Same thing happened to me with the black one after a week of having it- went to Sephora to exchange it and got a nude one and it also got a small tear within the first week 😑 I had a pink one that lasted me like a year!

My black beauty blender got so beaten up in my makeup bag after two or three weeks, I couldn't return mine because I bought it in the US and I was home by then 😩😩 I still get so mad when I think about it because it was so expensive!
KATHLEEN will you please do an updated Top 5 Foundations video?! We have such similar skin type and I've been using the one same Maybelline Matte & Poreless foundation for like a year (other than winter I switch to the dewy one) and really want to try something different (preferably drugstore, I also ADORE the Makeup Forever HD one but definitely not an everyday foundation for a broke college student lol). So I'd love to hear an updated version of the foundations you recommend the most!!!

I hate the real techniques sponge!!! It leaves my under eyes stamped with the texture of the sponge! Like little circles and it looks like craters under my eyes! Does anyone have this problem?

Don't press so hard. Go very lightly
I use it to apply my setting powder. I take the flat side , dip it into my powder & set my under eyes & for baking. It works well for pressing in the powder. As for it leaving texture, make sure you realllly squeeze out all of the water & then I take a paper towel or clean towel & give it a few squeezes to get any remaining water out.
