ATC Towers of Calgary

This “ATC Towers of Calgary” video is not only of the five Towers that Calgary International Airport (CYYC) had over the years, but also the two ATC Towers at Calgary Springbank Airport (CYBW), the ATC Tower from Calgary Lincoln Park (CYLG) RCAF military airport.
And because I had the photos, I added the two ATC Towers at Whitehorse YT, Airport, (CYXY).
Rather than show a bunch of photos, I thought it would keep your interest if I added a story to each photo.
After 27 years I retired from ATC. I started my own Aerial Photo business in Calgary as a second career. I did my own flying and shooting. I had the business for 14 years and retired again. All my negs and slides are donated to the Glenbow Museum Calgary for public viewing.

$7.00 per hour in 1959 was huge! Construction workers in 1960 made $1.75, and my mother in1960 got a raise to $1.00 on the Woodward's food floor! I myself was making $3.50 per hour at a central industrial Air conditioner manufacturing plant Engineered Air in 1975! Boy was I in the wrong business!
