I was going to buy this but thankfully just bought a cheap stove top pour over with temperature gauge built in. When you have a glass top cook top, no problem!
My Brewista base is faulty and less than 2 years old.. seems to be a common occurrence from people I've spoken with and outside the warranty period of course. No response from the company at all so I'll be switching over to a Fellow Stagg EKG this week!
The company that makes it, Fellow, has their own website, and this kettle comes in multiple colors. fellowproducts.com/collections/heat/products/staggekg?gclid=Cj0KCQiA2b7uBRDsARIsAEE9XpELLuLiYmbgn_1zlH5iCgdMklwoPmYCmnWqsoFNowDVpV-EgX53sA8aAqFZEALw_wcB
Come on man this is a crappy review. Why? Because you seem smart enough to take a thermometer and test the water to see how ACCURATE it is. Why didn’t you do that? Probably because you get paid from the company that’s why. Nope I’m not convinced until you do that.
that glass water pitcher is classic!

Hi, where did you buy the water pitcher?
I believe the water pitcher is from The Container Store or Williams Sonoma.
